Almost unplayable with the button duplication. Lots of options overriding my current screen, more than once giving me a "try again" option instead of a "left/right" one. That button starts the game over, and at the slow pace you have to click everything it becomes very annoying.
I do apologize for the no third level I guess it hadn't uploaded properly. Thank you!
I agree it could use sounds and some hazards other than falling out of bounds to your death. I have debated on adding those to current levels or just future levels.
A few issues: (1) had to reload page twice to get controls to work at all. After clicking out to type this comment, no keys work, though i can still click to shoot. (2) no screen lock, arrows/space still scroll screen. (3) motion is awkward. Jump is weak and you slide a lot. (4) after a short time music starts playing over itself, and on different beats. (5) If you cannot aim, why not make space shoot instead of needing a mouse? (6) after hits, hearts didn't decrease. 3 were displayed until I died. (7) sometimes arrow range dropped to nothing, they would just appear in front of the character and stop, as though hitting an invisible wall.
I like the style, and think there is potential here, but I can barely play right now.
I like BotDs as nice throwbacks, "remember this game you played four years ago?" This one seems a tad too fresh to make sense, seeing as it is literally the newest badge on kong. No one needs a reminder of it yet, it's a wasted opportunity.
Got all hearts other than the one in the wall. Still can't beat the boss, almost none of the attacks are avoidable without motions too precise for the character. Otherwise, quite good.
My only complaint after a number of playthroughs since the game's release is that we shold be able to change control scheme midway. My left key is acting up, and I can't consistently attack now.
Update to my predicament: Found a path I hadn't followed, accessed it by slamming through a bridge. Led to a door next to a long vertical shaft, on a screen with a button visible on the other side. I can't open it from this side, and the jump back up is too high for double jump and dash to handle. So it seems I'm trapped. Permanently.
I desperately need a map. I managed to get the extend orb, but I can't find where to advance, I'm going in circles. I see a door with some sort of wheel near it that I can't activate, and I've encountered ceiling buttons I cannot activate. Really enjoying this, but I'm stuck. I guess I'll play again when I figure out where to go.
Ads now work if they are anything but those italian cooking videos. Those end with a black screen and don't register as complete. Sadly, they also make up well over 2/3 of the videos I've seen.
(1) Ads that don't work. (2) slow money gain/ high cost upgrades which don't improve BB enough to make the cost seem worth it. (3) Lag between launches. (4) No missions! (5) overly simplified launch system, considering that there aren't benefits to different angles and such, is worse than the timed presses of the past. SUMMARY: This seems, from the mouse controls to ad setup, like a game that was built for mobile. Maybe that's where you're going with this, but right now it just isn't as much fun as the others.
