inthrees has a point. Tutorials are guidelines, not templates. Modify this, make it your own. But copying what someone else did and posting it as original is a failure.
4/5. Cute puzzle game, not too difficult, but not too easy either. Some puzzles require a good amount of planning, especially to get the timing ones correct.
The blocks didn't change for me until I had done the lines with them. Then again, the 1x4 I dropped in created the 4x4 block, so.. *shrug*
But other than that, it's tetris, with a minor gimmick, no sound, no difficulty... 2/5.
Ok, let's see if I can list off what I've seen in the last five minutes:
1) Arm on speedometer wrapping
2) AI going the wrong way (figure 8 track)
3) Starts on lap 2 becuase you cross the finish line once at the beginning of the race
4) Possible to get stuck on walls
5) Tank level has bad collision detection, I've "sunk in quicksand" while being in the middle of the road.
6) "Cheats" don't double, they remove the limits. Using the acceleration cheat makes you instantly go off the track.
7) And my favorite, I have somehow managed to turn the game upside down. My vehicle is WELL off the track, the lap counter is now upside down and closer to the middle of the screen, and there is no back button. So I am fully stuck. 1/5 for bug filled game.
1/5 becuase this game only has one thing that has anything to do with being a monster truck, and it's ungodly simple. (Jumping buses). I'd give it a 0/5 just for the Russian space program you're forced to endure to finish the game.
well, I got to 53 w/ just the pistol and grenades (and pub upgrades, of course), but by then I could afford the minigun so I grabbed it to have some fun. :)
Only trophy I didn't get was the final "kill" trophy. How the heck many does it take?
There definitely needs to be a way to sell, destroy, or move misplaced blocks. Sword seems to level up a little too slowly. Progression in price for the turrets is a good thing, but it seems a bit steep too. And, while sandbox gives a lot of money, it doesn't give enough for a true sandbox effect (after all, turrets get expensive. ;) ). Some note on the mana too, letting people know that it does regen between turns, so they CAN let Satan march around if they want. So far, 3/5, solid base, needs some tuning.
