OK good game, I like the puzzle aspect, but with a game like this we shouldn't really have a level cap. Lose the zombies, the whole genre makes no sense with this type of game. A magic using elf or a techno-alien would fit much better, and makes me feel you picked zombies becasue games with zombies seem to get attention. Over-saturation of the genre will kill interest for all zombies.
If I see the words "wacky" "zany" or "with a twist" in a description I usually wince knowing what the game will really be like, but you defied the stereotype, good for you!
So at first I did not care for this game, then as I persisted I realized this game is a LONG TERM game. It takes a while to do the quests, gather parts, and gain ideas for strategy. So all I have to say is stick with it a while, play your daily quests and realize that this game is not instant gratification, but takes a long time to get good at. The combos and strategy that emerge over time are so much fun to figure out! Stick with it!
Kriton: So what you have here is a massive organism, who's growth is directly proportional to its food intake, roughly in the form of the old earth's dinosaur.
Cat: Directly Propo... what?
Lister: He's saying this thing has porked it's way through and entire planets eco-system!
Rimmer: Oh really, and how do you explain the laser beam eyeballs? Just had to hot a vindaloo?
Lister: Quick collect some lager to chuck at it!
Join the Alien scouts. Travel to different planets by meteor. Experience far off planets; meet their local wildlife and dominant intelligent beings, and EAT THEM!
The way the follow camera moves around it really annoying, and is so fast that it makes me a it ill to watch it. Interesting idea and I like seeing more 3D in web based games. Other than that it is basic in game play and not very engaging/easy puzzles. Still as a concept it is solid, and hopefully this platform will become more fleshed-out in the future.
can the controls get more precise please? I mean, in a game where there is little "smudge" factor to jumping and the turning of the worlds, it is more annoying than fun.
I am seriously wondering if the Random number generator in flash is any good. This is the third game where the % to hit does not match the statistics over time.
So I have to downgrade my original rating to a 4/5. I was trying to go about this in a smart manner where my party was all level 15 and simultaneously reached the dragon as a group, where the rouge is at the front disabling traps, etc. This is doable, but not under 26 days.
Then I just connected the dots with as few passageways, and let the guys run around crazy like, and made a big loop with one entry and exit at the dragon, and was able to finish in 21 days. So there is no real thought or planning that needs to be done, just luck. This would be so much better if there were objectives, and some sort of logic went into the planning to meet goals.
Ah well, I really enjoyed the game anyway. I hope you can make an improved version soon!
