I was trying to remember the game that this one reminded me of, thankfully the Badge of the Day just came around. THAT's what it reminded me of, City Siege, but with the fun strategic aspect taken out in favor of mindless idle and exponentially slower upgrades.
A quality-of-life suggestion: have a tool-tip that pops up for the seed/plot, detailing how much income and how fast, whether it's getting boost from a sprinkler, etc. And if hovering over a sprinkler, have it detail which sprinkler type it is. Same with scarecrows.
This is a nice idea. We are hearing from a lot of you that more detailed stats on the crops, and this is definitely something we can explore for future updates.
Any plans to add < > arrow buttons for scrolling through the various seeds? Somewhat tired of trying to swipe to scroll and instead it thinks I want to place the seed somewhere. Unless I'm missing something...
Hey Knight - this is good feedback. If you have a mouse, hovering and using the scroll wheel will move it. If you click and drag from any of the card that doesn't look like tiles, it should work too. We've heard that if you are on certain laptops this can be tricky so we are looking into better UX solutions for laptop.
Short and sweet, once I figured out what the "answer" the QR code was telling me for 2nd floor... Yes, it's optional, but it's also frustrating to have a room's treasure stare at you and not have an intuitive solution nearby, not 4 rooms away(like in 1st floor). Aside from that, feels like the sword range was so short that I always had to risk getting hurt myself trying to kill the enemies. The game has potential, maybe change the skill/items to Slingshot instead of Dash and enable ranged damage? Might enable new puzzles/interaction based on ranged triggers.
I was about to complain about how its not displaying the distance traveled as you go. But I see that it's on purpose, and that it's not even about the distance. Good game twist on that
Just finished the final battle... THAT was epic. Make sure to equip weapons that add Random Buff and Random Nerf, you need the extra attempts. Make sure Quicken All, Armor Up All, and Attack Up All (I would also add Spirit Up All, but apparently that also lowers healing received) are learned by multiple characters... and each time they cast these, they also have a chance at using Random Buff/Nerf.
Thenextneo42, perhaps actually look at the customizable key controls first? for WASD users, jump/strafe/fire keys are HJK. And worth also mentioning that Instructions mention only the arrow keys/ZX for control, although both styles are enabled.
Corloc: Have you tried with other browsers? Need to do that to rule out an issue in FF or settings inside it. At the least, Chrome on mine works just fine.
An old game, but a gem nonetheless. For a flash game of this flexibility(Customizable skill order and multiple job class tiers that can be re-visited, what?!?), content variety and size, it puts to shame all the RPGMaker-based games that have been out in the past few years. It has its flaws but entirely forgivable all considered. Only downside is that it doesn't seem like there's going to be a follow-up/new project in the works to look forward to
What this game really needs is a targeting/priority system... early in the game I can understand just letting them spread out damage, but later on I wish I could have them down an opponent one at a time to reduce their numbers/damage on my team
It has taken several tries on the map generation for Extended: chunks of Forest tiles, a Lighthouse, and Tower of Water all need to be somewhat near the center and not get gobbled up by the darkness before you develop them. Other than that, rather enjoyable to be surprised with what could be built as an effect of what's surrounding a tile.
I get it, you want to get paid for your work. How about a compromise? Temporary(x days' worth) unlock of 2x speed if paid with gems, permanent unlock if paid with kreds?
@germophile You really should should have looked at the past posts by disrighthereismy before bashing on the dev. There are critical remarks by other comments that the dev has shown self-control in not replying.
Maybe a "Welcome back, what can I do for you today?" message instead of the same introductory dialogue treating me like a newcomer at the Blacksmith? At least, you know, after the 2nd time visiting him... or 256727th.
Is it too much to have the exit land you to the RIGHT of the entrance, rather than UP, which is the direction you were already going in to exit... which results in accidental entry of the same dungeon and having to trek across it to try exiting... again.
@Chaafii: You can buy fuel cells and place them on depleted cells with just simple left-click. Staff-based re-buy is actually just convenience and not good for your finances at their base levels (at 200% cost)
The game has issues loading at times, where it gets stuck on the Options tab and acting as if I have no Staff(the perpetual skills don't take effect and the cells die)
