Woah, did the game just get updated recently? Just now, in the area where the computer locks you in a room and starts the alarm, it sent down a buzz saw drone. That never happened to me before, and I've been through there dozens and dozens of times. Tried again a bit later (because I'm going for a no-death run) and the same thing happened, but the next time I tried it the drone didn't come. Seems to be random, but it's never happened until today.
Blurgh.. it's pretty neat, but holy crud does the AI need some work. It just stands there and fires if it's in the camera and there's an open area between you and the enemy, and just stands around and does nothing if not. Some moving around and jumping would be kind of interesting... and it'd also be appreciated if seeing them wasn't literally what caused them to start shooting sometimes.
Love the subversion of Portal syndrome. From the game's mechanics to the game's end, I'm sure I wasn't alone in thinking "Mmh, not another Portal game..." and then being pleasantly surprised shortly afterwards.
Hey, had a bit of a glitch. In the room where you get the pig (the animal, not the gun) it didn't spawn my first time through. Refreshed, selected the chamber, and it showed up. It's nothing too bad, it'd just be nice if you fixed it.
Honestly, I don't get why people are saying "this is so hard, so frustrating, I hate it!" Yes, it's pretty hard, yes, it's tricky to get a feel for, but you start without any delay at all after you die, and once you get a feel for it, it becomes incredibly fun. Keep trying (or better yet, start from the first one) and you'll find this to be a great game. This was actually one of the first flash games I ever really got into. Loved it then, love it now.
The new levels showed some promise, but you still haven't really explored that much of the concept. I have my hopes up that you'll release some more levels for this in the near future. 'Till then, 4/5. I hope to have a reason to raise it to a 5/5 soon.
Honestly, I love this concept, but I just feel so sad that it was wasted on stuff this simple. You could've done so much more with this. I don't know if it was just a lack of level ideas or a desire to keep it accessible and short, but the brilliant concept just feels more than a little bit wasted. 7/10, which I feel obligated to round down to a 3/5.
I like the concept, but one of the parts of a good game is also utilizing the concept to the fullest extent and, sadly, you really didn't even scratch the surface. Best I can give it is 3/5
The only complaint I have is that 1-5 should be weapons and 6-0 should be towers, because 1-5 are much closer to wasd, which is probably what the player will be using whilst he's using his weapons. He can reach over to hit 6-0 during a break and just stand still, but in the heat of the action when he wants to switch weapons in a split-second, reaching over to hit 6-0 is a bit bothersome.
Nice! It's nice to see a puzzle game sequel that stays true to the spirit of the original while still completely changing the way the game works! A lot of other puzzle developers tend to just make a bunch of player packs or expansion-pack sequels, but you get props for trying something a little new. Definitely 5/5 for that. Puzzle devs take note, /this/ is how you do a sequel!
I'm not sure which feeling is stronger, the horror of the game's atmosphere, or the humor that comes from the sheer absurdity of being chased around WW1 bunkers by dinosaurs. Love the game.
