The UAV upgrades are useless - the vehicle that launches it dies long before you get a chance to launch a second UAV, even if you launch the first as early in the run as possible. Perhaps the upgrades for the UAV should be for additional ones in the air at the same time.
Also - on bombing run. Bases should be immune. I just lost that one because of ONE random bomb hit. Not playing this game anymore. Had given it a 3, but because of the frustration of trying to control the troops, and THAT, rating drops to 1 and this game drops off my radar as worth my time, even for the badges.
The biggest difficulty of this game is not mastering the tactics. It's control your gosh-darned troops. They're virtually impossible to control. I've had an easier time herding cats. Your game difficulty should NOT be wrapped up in the controls - that doesn't create a valuable player experience, just a frustrating one. If i spend the whole game yelling at the computer, you've either done something very right, or very wrong. In this case, it's wrong - the unit control needs work.
Three tries to upgrade, cash has vanished and gone to zero every time. Until you fix this bug, this game gets 1 star. Sad for something from the Bloons franchise.
I have also a couple of times run into a bug where equipment I had in my inventory vanished. Just ran into it - bought two pieces of armor, one for me, one for a merc. Equipped mine, went to equip the merc's, and it was gone, as well as the armor that came off of me.
Great game, but, really, there needs to be a button that lets you stay still while shooting - attack and move being the same button in an action game is murder.
This game seems to have a REALLY bad memory leak that causes some horrendous lag after about 10 minutes of play. Solved by closing the browser and reopening, but that's a little annoying.
It was good up until the mission where you have to fight a mech, and 4 guys on your own, one of the guys who happens to have a one-shot-kill weapon. And they start out with 10 kills on you. That map. Bogus.
Yeah, basically, helicopter shows up, game over, no matter how many upgrades. Your tires are gone by then, so you can't steer him into the THREE freaking signs you need to kill him. One sign should be sufficient given how ZERO control you have of your car once your tires are gone.
That bug's happened with two different staves I've purchased from the weaponsmith now. Both with significantly better damage than the currently equipped one.
I'm encountering a bug where a staff I'm trying to equip is disappearing. Not showing up on the staff slot, or in the inventory slot. But when I re-equip the old staff, the new one shows up in the inventory again.
I am working on this issue too. I will upload the new version today. Thanks for being with game.
