How did this flaming turd get badges? The auto-switching is HORRIBLE - most of the difficulty in the game just comes from wrestling with it to get to the weapon you actually want and need because the stupid thing keeps switching away from that same weapon at the worst possible moment.
I agree that you should be able to choose which blocks you bring into battle. While new blocks may be nifty, they really just add difficulty to the game, as it takes longer to upgrade blocks and forces a larger wall (which means less space to kill enemies before they start killing your wall).
Okay, that flashing button seems to be the mute button. It worked on second play through.
Now the game seems very boring - stay in the lane that alternates between oncoming and withgoing traffic, and you don't need to maneuver - I played 10 levels and only once did another car even partially enter that lane. I finally just got bored and quit.
Music is boring. Mute button would be VERY nice. No directions, and no indication what that flashing button does. Clicking it (which puts a red cross on it) doesn't seem to do anything. Also, the car selected at the start screen is not the car you're given.
Weapons are too expensive - you have to start the second level (SIX waves, not including the stupid slider puzzle) with the starter weapon, which takes over 8 hits to kill anyone. POORLY done. Upgrades should be purchasable at a rate that at least remotely keeps up with the increase in the bad guys' abilities.
The stress system is possibly more annoying than in previous versions. You end up spending MORE time resting than doing anything else, which, for a game with limited turns, is frustrating.
You seriously need to add the ability to jump. Currently, as it is, if you get surrounded, you can't do anything except die. Since you get momentarily stunned by contact, you can't even sacrifice health to run through them to get to a safer spot. Good concept, good graphics, but the mechanics are poorly executed.
Reason I say this is bad: the sprites are very difficult to hit, after the 2nd wave, you spend more time trying to not get instakilled than you do collecting the upgrade monies, which are very difficult to roll over until you have magnetism, which still only slightly helps. The upgrade costs are a bit steep considering how frequently you have to die on each wave if you just want to collect the upgrade monies. The game has potential - it's an interesting feel. Just the mechanics need work.
What's the point of being asked if you want to pvp if you don't have the option of refusing? And forcing a starting player to accept pvp challenges before they've had a chance to gain even one level is very VERY poor game design.
There is no save. No level select. If you die on a level, that's the end of the game. No option to go back and try to earn more upgrade. And with your difficulty curve, it essentially makes for a crappy game.
Controls are clunky. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, and the controls frequently stick. This is NOT my laptop, as it doesn't occur in other games. Controls don't even work at all in Chrome.
They may require the skill below them.
