Level 23 is a perfect example of what I hate in these games. I can see exactly how it is supposed to work, I do my 3 clicks and sit back and hope that everything will miraculously come together to make it work. Oops, the spinner was too fast. The log got stuck.
So, I get the vase object to turn over onto me. I cant fit through the gap and neither can the target, plus the neck is too long to allow a win..... I guess I have to break the vase, or something. To the walkthrough!
Nice start. 1 BIG thing = light colored text on light background does not work. Cant read 3/4 of the info. You need contrast. The towers do need some balancing number changes. Make things more expensive. Lower power. Things like that. Even the cheapest tower can wipe nearly every wave.
I seriously want to like this game, but I cant cuz as of this writing I cant get through Ch2 on Normal. Perhaps I'm missing something. I'll give it another try. The old guy is so weak and it's so hard to hit anything that I end up dead after getting to the Professor. Total regen between fights would probably make it too easy, but something is off when his "Power" attack is useless cuz I miss 2/3 on nearly every attempt. I've done better since I started using Def Stance, but that character still gets torn up.
I seriously want to like this game. Unfortunately, there are a few key elements that pull it down to a 2 star, for me. The biggest thing is the "ethereal construction" bug, where a building gets built somewhere off-map. This seems to be caused by lag when there are too many mobs. Another issue I have is that there seems to be no way to cancel a training que. This game needs it or a way to pause or prioritize the ques. Otherwise well thought out and I'd really like to give it a 4+, but the bugs gotta go.
Looks interesting, but there is a UI bug that won't let me get through the tutorial. I tried a few tricks, to no avail. I left for a while (a month?) and it wouldn't let me log into my screen name. The same UI problem, where the arrow that is supposed to be pointing at the AK is actually way above, is still there. So, I will not rate at this time. Otherwise I'd have to give it a 1/5.
Great game. Only tweek I could suggest would be to allow the ramp Height/Length to be adjusted in story mode. Much easier to get the 5-kill challenge if I could lower the ramp.
1 thing needed: Names and/or descriptions of parts. Other things that would be nice: more than 1 slot for guns (not everyone wants to go duck hunting); Something to spend money on (like a bigger shop, better testing range, etc.); a control for what sort of research to do (hunter, sidearm, heavy, etc.).
I cant put this 1 in my favs. Sorry, but when I'm happily watching about 5 tons of rubble coming down to crush the group I was aiming for and the timer times out I get quite annoyed. Also, this is a very easy, luck-based game. If the physics were tightened up (maybe allowing for a "squeeze factor) and the timer fixed I would easily bump my rating up. As is, I can barely give it a 2/5. And I save the 1/5's for the games that offend me.
you need only 2 clicks on this level )
