It's missing a mouse cursor for the title and level selection screens, but you can control those screens using arrow keys and enter. In game, the game is pretty neat but you inevitably have to utilize melee combat which is just awful. The bat will swing and hit the zombie(yielding blood on the floor) yet deal no damage. This changes once they come a little closer and only at certain odd angles. Also it seems that a zombie can kill you even if you are hitting it with your bat(which is problematic because you must stand still to swing the bat). I'm not really sure what's causing that though; maybe lack of push back effect or hit stun? I do like that you lose aggro on zombies that you break line of sight with since the goal is to escape and not to kill everything.
Really basic. The full screen mode is kinda wonky. It seems to take me back to the title screen if I click the southern hemisphere of my screen. That aside, the map itself is pretty disorienting with no objects around to gauge your speed. The shooting works fine, but the enemies are really uncommon. After you kill the first couple at the beginning, they seem to be on the other side of all the walls(which implies that the monsters are actually inside of the classrooms instead of the hallway). Slow down the monsters and triple/quadruple the number of them and you will have a game. The camera needs to be zoomed out quite a bit to facilitate this.
@knottylovergirl The reason you got downvoted is because anyone that has actually played the game will tell you that wandoos is mostly irrelevant. The fact that your wandoos level is only lvl 1 means you have barely started playing this game. Even if you got 0 wandoos drops after you first, by the time your wandoos lvl would matter it would up around 10-15 due to wandoos upgrades from the money pit. Bosses in adventure mode also drop wandoos very frequently. If you really think you need wandoos then you should have a maxed ascended forest pendant, maxed gaudy armor set, max NGU respawn rate, and farm Sky zone with auto kill bosses on while loot filtering everything but wandoos. There is more you could do, but this should be pretty easy to do.
This seems like the kind of game that should have some secret item to unlock something neat. There were a couple levels where I managed to rack up like 30 seconds of extra time that I could use to go down a path of rocks, but only just barely make it back. Overall I really liked the game.
Pretty basic but good. The enemy spawning is pretty annoying though. They tend to spawn right behind me. They can spawn pretty close too. I made a door to make an entrance to my house but it wouldn't place it? Using items in general is very unintuitive. Pretty odd to swing a piece of beef to regain health but not hunger. And for anyone wondering: Your inventory is opened with E on the keyboard, not I like I initially figured.
I hate this game for the same reason I hate Hearthstone: you gotta crack packs to get the cards you need. Crafting cards is a cop-out because inevitably you need to crack packs. The game is great, but the gambling is predatory. Sad. I'd pay $10 for the game with all cards unlocked after completing campaign or something similar.
I'm not really getting the complaints about difficulty. I suck major *** at platformers typically but managed only 37 deaths total and at least 10 are from messing around. Many of the levels you can skip the puzzle parts using some janky jumping. On lvl 25 you can hit the switch while you jump down. Most of my deaths came from not being able to see the whole stage which is my major complaint with the game. Way too many leaps of faith or leaping to my death so that I can see where the spikes aren't.
I don't know why, but everytime I click the "upgrades" button on the middle column the game immediately freezes. I seem to be able to click all the other buttons just fine, but the moment I touch the center column button EVERYTHING freezes. My computer says that the program has become unresponsive, while showing that the game is MAXING OUT my cpu power (i5 3570k). Chrome becomes unusable until I close the window.
I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. None of the buttons have labels or descriptions for what they do. I mean, I upgraded Range twice but what did it do? I watched the battle sim and it seemed that the enemy fired at the exact same time as I did which would imply either the enemy upgraded in the exact same way I did or my upgrades did so little that it is not noticeable. It is frustrating to spend 5 minutes watching the battle, then upgrade damage twice, then go to watch the next battle(versus the same enemies) still take 5 minutes. It just doesn't look like an actual game yet so I can't justify investing any more time into it.
Lol this game is literally just a re-skin of 1 of their other 20 re-skins. To top it off, the art style is trash-tier and easy to reproduce(this being the reason they can re-skin the game so many times).
Why does this game automatically open a window to another website when you complete it? I don't want any damn viruses or spyware from auto opening links. I saw the countdown spiral thing and clicked cancel, yet it still auto opened some other webpage.
Lol. Level 20 has a weird glitch that can cause you to win the level. If you knock mario under the moving platform, the platform will push mario under ground. Occasionally this shoots mario upwards from underneath luigi at high speed and causes an auto win.
Thanks your comment. I will check translations.
