Really wish it would allow me to access my account from this game that I created on Ninja Kiwi; kinda sucks not being able to continue where I left off.
Very cute nice shooter. The graphics, music, sound effects, upgrade system, re-playable levels, achievements, everything just works very synergistically to create a rather enjoyable game. Great work.
OK, not too bad, but not great either. A few areas need work. Too much spent on all of the background graphics (although they don't look bad, there is just too much going on there). The collision detection for picking up coins isn't that great (with the chopper; is better with the plane) and the magnet doesn't seem to do a thing (and the med-kit doesn't always seem to work). The 'Luna' award for reaching level 5 doesn't seem to register on the awards page (not sure if it popped up in the game though). More upgrades are needed, especially for the amount of money you can get (all maxed out at level 5; but could probably be done earlier). Just a few tweaks and it's a pretty fun little shooter. Keep it up.
The idea and game itself are quite good, but the keys are not nearly as responsive as they should be, or as fast for the speed run levels. Often I find I have to press a key several times while rotating or attempting to exit limbo due to this unresponsiveness, which is rather annoying. I know it is not my PC, and presume others are having this issue as well; so once that aspect is corrected; great game.
I found the game-play rather smooth, the only complaint I have is that at times I was being hit apparently through a wall (or by a bot that wasn't visible and then suddenly, POOF, it was there on top of me in my little hideout). Definitely nice work doing it all yourself, so good job on that. Now to just get this damn beat out of my head (kinda catchy for such a short loop; nice!).
Nicely done simple and fun game. Smooth use of the Unity engine; even with tons of buildings collapsing on me, no stagger or slowdown. Fair enough level of upgrades and easy to advance and keep improving your... robot woman. As Ralfo stated, some additional achievements would be a nice thing to see, as well as a bit more variety, but in the end it is still rather impressive and fun. Keep it up.
Very nice to see a great game that is not simply an improved clone of something. Well constructed, thought out and executed. Extremely simple to play yet more difficult to master; in my opinion one of the definitions of a great game that will endure. Excellent work GeneralVimes, and look forward to more of it.
Not a bad game at all, but as other have mentioned; definitely needs more depth. OK, so you made it in 10 days for a contest, but I have not seen many games of this exact nature, so you have a start and tremendous room for improvement give the same basic concept. Make it a campaign game perhaps, achievements, upgrades, more buildings, more everything. With more than 10 days, you could turn this simple concept into a true masterpiece. Please consider it.
Not bad, but rather buggy (submitted a few reports); but this one I'll just toss out there too. Endless mode is WAY unbalanced. Once you have your specials maxed (and reload, balloons, etc.) there is simply no stopping you, well that is to say until you get to about 800 seconds in which case all of my specials simply stopped working. Not at all bad, just needs quite a few minor fixes. So -1 for that, otherwise a nice killer of time on my Christmas morning. Please keep them coming.
I would have to agree with Jimbob on this one. There seems to be no real use of the Unity3D plugin, with substandard graphics for even a Flash game without it. While there is no real game-play flaws, it is simply a somewhat tired genre that you could do so much more with, especially considering the plugin. Put that thing to use, push the limits, take the same concept and really make use of Unity3D; then hopefully you will have something to talk about. Please keep at it though and don't get discouraged; this is meant to be constructive.
Very nicely constructed 3D racing game. Love the vector graphics. Love the music/effects. LOVE the turbo blur effect in a flash game. Decent upgrade system (could go much more in depth with car construction), but overall; just love it as a racing game in Flash. Been a long time coming since one of this genre truly shined through. Great work (although I am biased in the form of vector/Tron like looking games by far...). Definite to draw in the users as this genre has been lacking for a while.
Needs some work; like an auto-fire and think about adjusting the rotation for the arrow keys, it seems to move too quickly to get an accurate shot. Not a bad start but nothing special either. Expand it; add a story, music, different bombs, upgrades, etc. and then you may have yourself a game.
Fun little game. Not really fond of the 'go here get this, backtrack, get this, backtrack again' games of such a nature, but at least this wasn't very tedious in that area. Enjoyed my time playing it to completion, but most of all this is another example that great graphics are not needed for a fun game. Nice work.
