+1 For the environmental donation factor. Nothing great, but hope it will open the eyes ever so slightly to those whom are oblivious as to the current state of affairs in the US. Kudos.
Well nice work Mike and David, should add an API stat for achievements though. (Er... don't blame me for not pointing that out in beta....). Otherwise a nice change of pace to see some team bring pinball into the Flash environment. It is LONG overdue. Being a real life pinball freak, there are things that are lacking, but that is the great thing about sequels! Overall very nice, simplistic work with smooth play. Although I feel so low now seeing others scores that topple mine.... And to them I say 'Bring it to the real world!!!' Keep at it mate.
See all other comments for expansive advice and all that; my main issue with the game that is keeping me from wanting to play further is that of speed. The game in general is too slow moving; speed up the fps or whatever you have controlling your movement to such a slow pace and it could be a great game. It is rather annoying hitting several jumps in a row only to fall a bit short on the last due to the speed of the game; we are not the slow of reflexes, but the opposite. As a game that opposes my conditioned response of 'immediate', this game just seems to try my patience and make it all the more irritable rather that challenging and enjoyable as those of the genre. Overall, nice work, just crank up the speed a notch. Best wishes.
Definitely not bad at all for a first attempt. Would be nice to have had descriptions of what any of the items were, some music, sound, etc. which I'm sure you could have accomplished given more time with the environment, so go out and buy it now. Pretty simple though even with the lack of text. Not bad.
Absolutely love the game! An EXTREMELY difficult retro-shooter with true progressive difficulty. Very nice work. Only 17% complete after all that hard work though..... *sob*...
Very challenging and very well thought out. The increasing rate of difficulty will challenge the most venerated gamer Rubix, Tass . Simplicity at it's finest with the unique challenge and atmosphere too. Simply a masterpiece.
Not a bad shooter, but still not a GREAT one. Could use some bosses, and of course the Kong API. Is missing something else, but can't really figure out what as I keep playing for some reason attempting differing upgrade paths. OH! Maybe stating bonuses for the achievements you have unlocked (an extra point or so to spend from them would be great, making it a bit easier and adding more of a replay value to it.
Loving the game so far, yet to find any bugs and enjoying it immensely. Keep up the great work. Will be sure to submit bug reports if I fin any. (Oh, and add the Kong API.)
No scoring system on Kong API (-1), No real tutorial (-1), Retro (kinda; + .50, Dynamics (+5), Game Play (+3), Nothing original; -2; overall: about a 3..... PLEASE!!!! THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent concept, but not that great of an implementation. Even in the way of instructions. Glitchy movement and what seems to be slightly off physic. Other than that, great concept and enjoyable; just could use some fine tuning.
Super Happy Fun Game. And a welcome genre to a site that has become home to multiple variations of overuses genres. Very nice work (wish it had some badges other than just an award though...), Please keep them coming.
Nice work. Nice to see a game every once in a while in a lesser used genre come out. Could use some more work (namely more levels), but over all constructed well. Though, as navysealltblue stated, it wouldn't hurt to wrap a small story line around it. You have the basic engine now; time to expand it to greatness.
Nice work, and in a word, simplicity. Various elements from all the different type of dodge/maze/etc games all rolled into one so it keeps your attention and doesn't get boring and repetitive as is what happens with so many others out there. Absolutely love the boss setup's. Nice work as always fortunacus.
Overall nice game. Typical elements are a bit tedious in this genre, grinding being the main one. I have no problems with the isometric view, but as others have stated it could be improved upon (semi-transparent layers to view sprites further back on the z-axis, arrows with all exits as in the introduction, a full map or each area). Other than that; love the graphics, music, idea, etc., but so much more can be done with the basic engine, and hopefully will be used in a future sequel (much already mentioned). Hotkeys would also be nice as suggested, and please add the API with hopes of badges, need another Action/RPG in there. Keep up the good work an listen to your audience. Without needing a complete rebuild, many typical RPG elements could be incorporated to make an excellent game; players want choices. Everywhere. As it stands the quests/equipment/stats/story are all static, predetermined. Let the players have some choices, ANY choices.
Great game. Some unknown factor just kept me playing until I beat it. Need a few medals, but they can wait until you upload with your own account. Great work.
The failings of the game make many users, such as myself, never to want to return until the game has passed it's prime, thus making it a failure. Though I feel this game has great addictive potential (as many on-line RPG'sw do), starting out with such a buggy and shunning begining is not likely to attract attention, but rather dismiss it all togeather. alpha and beta test it MUCH more throughly before releasing it next time. There are many gamers (myself included) that will do this free of charge and give productive feedback before you start out with a failing system. Contact: BillEVP@Comcast.net
Hmmm... Well still kind of undecided about this game. I enjoyed SS1 until the point where it was just another mindless grinding RPG style game that only sucked your life and wallet dry. Granted while playing this new release, there are many improvements; but the number of bugs far outway them. Some serious alpha testing was needed before this release was made public; I would fill pages listing some serious issues. The dynamic of the game has changd, which is definately a good thing, but; seriously guys; you need more aplpha testing before releasing something of this magnitude.
Not bad. Actually rather addictive given this increasingly used genre. My main issue is with the diamonds. It doesn't matter if you share on Facebook, etc; you don't get the diamonds for such on this site, nor can you get any of the PlayHub ones (which are more understandable), but with the others, they do not seem to transfer any information to Kong, so they are obsolete, making many items completely unavailable. So any game as this that requires you to do something that is not possible, definitely gets a downgrade (sorry BerzerkStudios), but, yeah, you have the API for 2 stats, but cutting off 7 awards and over 120 worth of diamonds by playing the game on this site is just fail. If you want it badged here, adjust it for this site. It is easy enough to do and granted you are attempting to gain as much revenue from as many sites as possible with this, the added revenue of die hard Kong addicts will not be there due to such restrictions.
