Cool concept. Appalling execution. Tracks need auto-smoothing. I need to be able to click two points and get a line between them. Then, I need to be able to bend that line via stretching.
I also need to be able to modify a part once it is placed. It's nearly impossible to line up a loop, and very difficult to line up a steep slope.
I would completely redo this. Start off with a straight line from start to end, allow me to bend it, and convert sections of track to the appropriate type.
Nice puzzle. However, the wave background actually gave me a migraine.
4/5 for playability. -2 for completely dumbass graphical design which is distracting, annoying, and in my case, actually physically painful.
Alright. It's a working Bejewelled clone. I'll give it 3/5 for that. (Default score for unoriginal, playable game.) Now, the real problem is that it is visually too complex. It is extremely difficult to scan and match, which is exactly what this type of game demands. For that, I take off a point, and don't add any points for any original aspects.
It simply was too visually complex to be fun.
Collision detection needs work -- There's serious overlap on the edges when hitting an obstacle. I also got the smiley stuck behind the trash can, and can't get it out.
Physics isn't bad, as the smiley moves pretty naturally. However, the scale is off -- Smiley is too big for the screen size.
Now we just need a reason to play.
http://www.kongregate.com/games/BryceSummer/walkinator?creature=115282 -- Not what I was going for, but it ended up interesting -- Kid pushing a scooter -- let it evolve up to 400 or higher
Not bad, but the controls are kind of sticky. I would get rid of the movement around the rooms and just click items to go to them and activate. Also, fix the math board so that the square root sign looks like a square root rather than long division.
Made the potion, but I can't get any sea water. Do I need the coconut shell to get it? If so, the game has put me in a state from which I cannot progress.
