Do you mean crates and weapons and corpses and stuff? Those things get destroyed when they hit a wall. We were supposed to have an animation for that but ran out of time because that's what LD48/72 does to games, I'm afraid.
It's OK, but gets a bit grindy and pointless towards the end. Would be a help if levelling up actually did something, like give you more cash for each weapon sold.
-Well, this looks like it'll keep me from boredom for about ten minutes. Two hours later..... Loved it. Especially now I finally know what's really meant by a Burn Notice
The guides aren't great once you get beyond level 4 or so. And I sank the last ball on the table on level 9, with 1 second to spare, to be told I had potted the wrong ball - wtf?
Aside from the lack of tutorial, the AI is very poor, doesn't play to its strengths at all. There's an awful lot of luck involved. Suggest just shows you possible moves, not the best, which makes the timeout pointless. Tiles are a bit too similar, especially until you get used to them. The additional gain from getting 4 or 5 tiles is too low. There's no storyline, not even an ending. Going back after you've won and getting 3 stars on earlier levels does nothing for your score. I usually love these type of games, but this is really disappointing
I started off outside the fence so couldn't get the sword, followed the fence around to the gap and went through to the next screen and couldn't get back, so game over. Also, the tutorial text is impossible to read against the background.
There's a mistake in the in game achievements - 'beat 40 levels' is awarded for beating level 40, even if you've skipped some. Not sure about the other 'beat x levels' awards
Thanks. It is same is for others.
There is no mistake, we wanted to add achievements this way.
We didn't want to make "complete all 40 levels without skipping" as there are people who can't beat some level for hours.
The incomplete tutorial is bad enough, but levels like 22 are ridiculous. Completely impossible, until you happen to spot the turning gear almost completely hidden under the menu button. Ruins what would otherwise have been a decent game.
Really enjoyed this up until the teleporting aliens - having instakills that you can't avoid, and being unable to purchase any new lives, kind of ruined the game for me.
