Really enjoying it. Love the helpful details like the popup warnings on the 'End Turn' button, that prevent you ruining a whole level by forgetting something silly like reloading. Like the way the initial levels are straightforward enough, but the difficulty ramps up towards the end. Suggestion: highlight the help button at the end of the tutorial - there's valuable info in there. Also, minor gripe: would be helpful to have a recap of the mission orders in there, for those longer "do a then b and then c" briefings, they can be a bit confusing the first time you play a level. But still, 5/5.
Maybe I'm just being stupid, but despite having finished focus, I just can't figure out how this is supposed to work. The in game instructions really need some work - 'Hold A and press S' does nothing for me.
Once you get beyond the initial basic levels, this is really good. Only complaint is there's a bit too much momentum on the UFO when you change direction, but apart from that, brilliant puzzle game.
I really like the idea, but there's a couple of things that ruined it for me. The hidden object part was terrible - short of randomly clicking, there were times you could do nothing but wait for a hint. And there were some really bizarre renditions of a couple of the songs. Plus the tutorial seemed to get stuck for me - it just kept telling me to click 'this' piece, with none highlighted. Took me a while to figure out, especially since the pieces didn't always lock into place in the outline.
Really enjoyed that, some interesting puzzles in the level design. Only a couple of issues: the enemies were a bit pointless, they never really threatened. And the squeaky noise every time you land got a bit irritating after a while. But aside from that, excellent.
Could maybe use a pause button (unless I missed it) - I had to go out somewhere around level 22 and came back to find myself on level 37! Relaxing game
The ridiculous difficulty of the alien CTF might be excusable if my team actually did something, instead of standing around while I kill all bar one of the opposition, then let the remaining human capture our flag. And then take the enemy flag and do nothing with it. The AI is terrible. 1/5
Good fun, although the last message is a bit trivial with the grenade launcher. Maybe a little too easy, but enjoyed it - makes me want to dig out UFO again.
@Ainio: The badge works, but it's not particularly clear in the game that there's 3 stages - 100k, 500k and 1000k - you have to finish all three to get the badge. Although when you hit the second stage it initially just looks as though the game has restarted.
Without any in-flight control, this is just pure luck based. Gets really repetitive and boring, the only interaction is the 'fight' bits, which are worse than useless - they give you a minimal amount of distance, and without them you could just go off and do something else while waiting for the flight to end. It doesn't even matter how well you launch, I've often gotten further with a mediocre launch than a perfect one.
Would be a help if you could turn off the upgrades, or even the autofire (never said that before!) - I've got most of them, but it makes the in game achievement of killing 15 minions in a round impossible, the demon always gets killed before 15 minions spans, even the final one.
There were problems with server, from where the game is loading, it's working now. Sorry, wasn't our fault.
