What is the point of having a player tank larger than one smallest bubble ? In any bullet-hell arena, small avatar = small target = get hit less often.
re: accuracy. I'm using lasers, which the game says have 100% accuracy, so there shouldn't be 'bullet spread' as you describe. In the game, for the floating black robots that explode on touch, fire a lazer at the top or middle OF THE ROBOT, and it will miss. Then fire a laser below the robot, at the robot's shadow on the ground, and then it will hit.
Problems with the game: don't aim at the creatures, aim at their shadows. If you target the creatures instead you will always miss. Also: I am unable to purchase two of the same type of gun -- the buy/sell button toggles to 'sell' if I already have that type of machine gun, so I can only sell the one I have, not purchase another just like it for the "gun2" slot. Also, the English language used for the dialog text needs a proofreader for spelling & grammar.
I do not agree with you about aiming at shadows. Guns just have different accuracy so there are some bullet spread. Language in dialogs now fixed - thanks to Perpluid.
I can't get past stage 2. I'm holding the left mouse button, I'm clicking it, but no bubble. I know my mouse works because I can click on the 'walkthrough' and the 'mute' buttons. Is there something I should be doing other than clicking the left mouse button?
Are the owners of the three default radio stations okay with you not mentioning the names of the stations? I think they'd want a little bit of credit for the audio accompanying your game.
for whatever it's worth, the "please stop using adblockers" shows up even if I'm not using adblockers. However, I don't see it for the full 30 seconds... because Kongregate's advert covers the entire flash player embed for ten seconds, obscuring whatever Nitrome promised an advertiser would be visible for 30 seconds.
How do I play this game? I don't see any explicit instructions. I tried clicking on the turret purchase on the right, then on one of the squares on the left, but nothing happens!
When selecting battles in a chapter you have this HUGE space... and yet you have to click "previous battle" "next battle" to change the only two spots clickable for battles. Bad interface design.
Bugged. Got the first item 'handgun' and I can see the 'click to exit', but no mouseclicks nor keyboard input will dismiss that screen. I cannot interact with the flash after that shows up. Using Flash 11.1.102.63
I don't like it. I can be defeated utterly by having a bad mix of tiles, or get a gold trophy if my first layout of tiles is alright. The animations are weird -- why would the hero run to to arm's length close to the monster to defend or heal, then run back?
arrrgh, the delayed reaction from keyboard and mouse input is FRUSTRATING. Especially when I have to wait for the custom pointer to "atch up" with where my mouse is actually pointing.
