Why does the game stop at every quest step to show an animated progress bar? I can see the data assets are already loaded, why halt the game just to watch a green line inflate?
Sometimes the Trolbots seem invulnerable. I'll see them roll past a dozen tightly-packed Scorchers and Rusts, and still have full health bars the entire time. What am I overlooking?
Another bug -- many robots will have a health bar that decreases like so when being shot by a pellet tower: "100, 99, 98, 97, 0". I doubt pellet towers are suddenly getting crits at the last second, especially not on every robot in an entire wave.
Still buggy. Sometimes I'll be playing, all the thug robots and towers vanish, but the music continues playing, the circle around my highlighted tower is still there, and I'm still getting iR from the passive bonus. I have to go 'menu -> restart' and try the level again.
Wish I knew what advantages each of the upgrades would give me. Also the 'slo-mo' moves that give bonus money seem kinda arbitrary -- sometimes I get $$ for a zombie sliding off my windshield, sometimes I don't, sometimes I get $$ for gibbing a zombie, sometimes I don't.
This is really good. Shows what Flash can do with a physics platformer and ragdoll physics. The scene with the train going off the tracks was what really impressed me -- could've been a cutscene, but no, those are the same train models/sprites you were running across.
This is a game where I just afk for a while so I can get enough experience points. . Pretty poor design if the best strategy is to ignore the game long enough.
Game looks rushed. Items that have too many uses, items that should be combined, but you have to be standing in the right place, or at the right time, or can only combine them in the correct order. There's clearly more detail in the earlier parts of the game than the latter -- many error messages for poor combinations in the early parts, but not so much as a "No." for bad combinations in the latter part.
Needs more polish/testing.
I feel the female costumes on the character selection screen are offensive. Men: dressed for success. Women: not even enough clothes to call it a strip-tease.
