BUG: At lv 59 I was grinding in the 61-70 zones. My crafting was likewise at 59. When I levelled to 60 it switched my crafting requirement over to the 61-70 materials even though I hadn't yet raised my crafting to 60. Not only that, but it didn't reset the requirement; it wants 48 Netherweave for me to finish crafting 59... except that I HAVE 177 Netherweave now and it still won't let me complete it. It wouldn't let me use Felcloth when I had 700-something of those, either.
I get an occasional bug where I can't use my leather for crafting. I double-check that it's the right kind but it just won't let me craft with it. Right now, for instance, I have 52 Medium Leather that I can't use to finish Crafting lv 29. Of course, I WAS going to use it to do Crafting 21 and 22 (to save on material; I had waaaay more of the others after running overnight) but it wouldn't let me craft with the leather for that, either.
More or less it's a simple clickfest. Although it's generally pretty clear which circle you need to click next you COULD just go crazy with the clicking. Heck, that's how I won the fights. I never could figure out what I was SUPPOSED to do. And the ending: really? I mean really? Dumb.
Build to make survival ridiculously easy: Max out the fire track skills that don't relate to buying new skills. Then do the same on the divine track (although you'll have to buy smite; use it to replace ice nova) You should be able to get your last 2 points into the Chosen One skill. That gives you 3 fireballs firing at +29% damage (54%-25% for 3 fireballs) and smite at +54% which is nice for getting rid of single guys quickly. It also gives you +40% healing for the few times you'll ever need it (only put 2 points in, not the full 3). The best part? You'll regen MP faster than your fireballs use it, so you can ALWAYS heal.
This game had some great humor, but very little in the way of skill of any sort is required. 1: Move 2: Choose door 3: Fail (hopefully) once or twice to see the cool gag and then Succeed 4: Repeat. I just didn't ever feel like I was playing a game. I always felt like it was a silly cartoon (that was fun, but just a cartoon) that I loosely controlled.
This is a great game. The depth of strategy in picking weapon loadouts for your team is great, even if some of the weapons are clearly worse than others. (Too bad there's no stamp for collecting all the weapons, though...) Two things disappoint me, though. 1) there's no TRUE multiplayer and 2) failing true MP there's no way to script the way we want our family to attack. There are plenty of families that I saw attack suboptimally (although the AI was pretty good) but I'm sure that my family wouldn't attack the way I play it.
I'm not sure if I think this game is really clever or really boring. The growth curve for money seems too slow. I spend lots of flights just trying to grab more cash, primarily so I can skip over upgrades.
What a dumb combat system for single-player! A timer? The inability to set your partner's action after you've set yours? The fact that if you want to attack someone your partner just killed means that you don't attack at all this turn? For a game focused more or less entirely on the combat this was a really stupid idea.
I can't stand Crush the Castle because most of my failures seem arbitrary due to lag, etc. I really like this game, though, because I can finally put my projectiles where I want them to be.
To get the challenge use the knife on the pumpkin and then put the lit candle inside. Two ways to kill the Reincarny: use the bucket in his room when he's asleep and fill it with the window cleaner and the bleach (under the kitchen sink) or just put the lit candle on his bed.
Scan should scan ALL of the unidentified baddies at the same time. There's no reason not to. Worst case we can jump in, scan a baddie, flee and repeat. It's just onerous. Make it easy and it'll be fun instead of annoying.
What this game needs is a button to voluntarily end your combo. Then we could cash in our money and build more instead of waiting for 2 turtle shells to stop getting bounced around on an infinite loop. We could make the loop big enough to catch 100 turtle shells.
I want this guy's car! Not so much with all the mods. I can do without those, although they'd be spiffy. Rather, I want this sport car that can drive with a) about 750-1000 lbs of metal on the front, b) 300 extra pounds of bullet proof glass and reinforcement, c) tires that never allow you to spin the car, d) an auto body that doesn't crumple or break your neck when crashing headlong into a semi truck and e) has a horn loud enough to tell the jerk who's driving too slow that he needs to move out of your way NOW.
I get really frustrated that when I cast a "special spell" like "Increase Special" I have to weather an attack but the AI gets to do it and then attack me! That's two turns in a row!
