Forfeiting to teleport to last visited town really helps on some of the travel time. Especially useful in that long period where you have 4 level 50 beasts with full stats and no use for money or new items.
@SaFire2342 To train for surviving the path to Rock City I trained at.. the path to Rock City. It's the best place to train and you don't lose anything by not making it. Didn't take hours that way. I think it took 4-5 tries or so.
Impossible with 0 pixels? I don't think it is. You could learn what the image of all motives looked like or just get extremely lucky. With that said, I think these quick 0's are most likely cheaters, nonetheless.
For me, the final boss was a lot easier with 2 regen rings, 1 regen bracelet and final staff. I initially went greatsword and that went fairly smooth until the end. I'm guessing staff is best when you have enough for all 24 aqua skill points, plus 9 in terra for hp and def. Going for Quick Learner and Soul Thirst quick is probably also good. If you can survive last room fairly well, I recommend hitting the door down to 50% hp and try to kill the big red demons for high rewards. And if you have enough regen for that to be easy, you can put the door down to 10% and kill the red turtles for extra exp too, if you need it.
The deciding reason that got me to get this easy badge, was that I won't have to play this game in future botd's. How people can enjoy this game is beyond me. It's like voluntarily working for a permanently inefficient factory with high demanding customers (that don't really exist) entirely for free. 1/5
I disagree with Ruffian Squee. I think it's a decent prototype for pathfinding. I haven't been able to make "the path finding [...] confused" in spite of testing all kinds of special scenarios. It doesn't choose the path a human would do, but it seems to choose the shortest path even though it can look weird because it prefers straight strolls. I neither think the scrolling was bad. It works good with edges, and adding further scroll effects would be for reasons of aesthetics, not convenience. Which is just how a prototype should be. Good job on this, and the best of luck with your games.
I learned from the chat that researching catnip processing actually doesn't do anything until you have researched construction, then built your first workshop and then finally using the research to get an upgrade in the workshop that will then do the advertised effect. Needless to say, I think the description on the research item could be better. And perhaps catnip processing should require construction?
I researched Catnip Processing but I thought it made the manual catnip to wood conversion cheaper, but I see no difference (still 100 catnip for 1 wood). Is it a dud, bug or am I just too stupid to notice what it does?
how do you get perfect on level 20? I can only squeeze through the top by swaying the tower, and I can't do that without hitting the ceiling. Do you have to do something else, or is it just very hard to pull off?
Hmm it keeps telling me reception isn't fast enough. But buying one more reception doesn't seem to do anything. Is that just something we can't do anything with? Great advice from Bobsson btw.
Sure. I'll probably remove entire tech and move upgrade somewhere else. :)
