For Frontlines, make sure you check out all the surrounding planets in the system for enemies. You need to destroy ALL enemies to finish, not just the ones immediately surrounding Prometheus.
You know what would be really cool for this game? Having statistics for each store. Maybe won't interest casual gamers much, but it would be interesting for them and invaluable for someone trying to determine a good strategy.
It's a pretty good game, but the cash you begin with should increase each level. The beginning of each level is exactly the same as the last, and the one before that, and the one before that... halfway done and not sure if I will finish all this repetition.
Interesting combination of the Nanowars and tower defence, but the towers weren't necessary. Short and easy, and little more than a 15-minute distraction. 4/5.
Is there a save function? There doesn't seem to be. I don't think old-school games had one, but that's one feature of the past I think is best left behind...
Space Quest wasn't a platformer, it was like King's Quest and Quest for Glory. I don't see the relation. Space Quest was meant to be really goofy, which this doesn't seem to be (much).
It's fun. But I can't stand the passing system. I think it would almost be better if there wasn't a targeted player, but it just threw towards the direction you're facing. Your AI runs after it anyway, and it makes it a heck of a lot easier to make goals. (Targeting someone behind you instead of throwing into the net?)
