I like the idea of using the bird companion. The music is cool but some comments indicate it's not original. That's not a huge deal for me though. However, the running controls are too loose. In one level, stage 3 I believe, I tried to walk across the bridge I just moved and went flying into the next pit. Worse, in Stage 5 you have me make a blind drop off the edge to progress and then kill me for the next blind drop. You can't teach a player to do a thing in one instance and then kill them for it. Now, this did teach me to scout with the bird, but that needs to be taught through actual gameplay, not dying.
This is the best one so far. It's cute and fun. Although I have to wonder how the dragon was captured or why it doesn't fly the Samurai out immediately.
Neat ending. I never like when I have to find hidden areas, such as around the corners of a bookcase or on top of the fridge. Other than that, I like the game. However, if I was the same type of creature as the one in the cage and it killed the man, why couldn't I just do that?
I like the game for the most part but had one big and one small problem with it. The BIG problem is the section with the gas. I like that you had the clue of which door you pick, but the doors are small and then you put a circle over the door, making it hard to see the door itself to find the right one. The small problem is that the turret section doesn't fit, though I admit that I did like the other minigame where you control the flight.
Lots of fun. I'm less likely to download and play on my home computer but only because that's where my "bigger" games are that I'm already playing. However I really liked this game and while it was easy in the sense that I didn't fail, it was also hectic. Great job.
That was boring. There is so little to do each day. The description makes it sound like it would be more open world but it's just go outside, do one thing, go back to bed. The casino is just scratch tickets or tic tac toe, the worst "game" ever.
I like the game again but it is just more of the same. However, I think it would benefit from more enemy variety as much as another character or more skills. The big problem is the bugs. I had the knight cast fireball once and the Confusion spell be Mass Confusion. The latter could work to my advantage if I was in position, but ended up with wasted turns. It only happened when using hotkeys.
To be continued? I don't see why it shouldn't just end there. Cool game. I really like how things level up through use. The one issue is that buying skills is easy with how many gems you will get after only a few days, so there is little incentive to earn the lower price by completing challenges. A minor point I thought was lame was the descriptions of The Boy as Relationship went up. All she did was give him gems that restore his memory. Why does that make her like him?
I like this game. The atmosphere is great and I did like the music for awhile. The gameplay is fun though I think it went down when I got the gun. It ends rather abruptly and as for the story, I'm left thinking "ok, what now?" My only real complaint is that a few things weren't clear. I didn't know to blow up the generator because it had a "!", which up until then had meant "interact with space". I thought the "emergency trigger" to lower the bridge was a pickup.
Well, the poison in the vending machine explains the sudden population drop. How is is suspicious that there are no fingerprints at a scene where someone was beaten? Unless they mean that not even the apartment owners' prints are anywhere. Some guy came in with a weapon, beat them, and left, probably wearing gloves. This is the most mundane case. I'd better stick my hand in a mouse hole that's in between railing posts to grab cheese I can't see to give to a pizza guy. I don't know why I can't steal a pizza or lie to the nerd. We break the law every other game. How is this apartment designed that two neighboring apartments have window visibility to each other? Kevin is going to "Interrogate" the victims?
A fish not for sale? Well I'd better commit more property damage so I can take it! This one isn't as good as the first two, though I do like the voices.
So I am actively working for the police, rather than being a PI, which means I am a representative of law enforcement. So I steal beer, an axe, a hairpin, a can of beans (which I open with an axe?), and commit criminal damage to property so I can steal the aforementioned axe. I did like the game, but geez!
Interesting way to present an idea and message. While I'm all for the free flow of information, that doesn't mean there are not national security secrets that a nation needs to hold. For example, exposing the NSA phone data collection isn't the same as exposing operational information. The latter is far more serious and problematic. (Although I love the Hillary Clinton quote at the end, given her own recent problems with information security.) So while I don't fully support the message of thsi game, I think it was done and presented really well.
I came here after playing "The Fabulous Screech", which was awesome. Had I not played that, I'd have been rather bored here. The art is great, but the gameplay and story are lacking. The ending was a nice little message though.
Wow, that was unexpectedly awesome. Not much gameplay but the story was great and touching. The middle section was a bit odd but baby Screech was adorable and old Screech was very sad. I was in a mix of thinking about my past pets and my own life. Well done!
