Really cool game. Music is beautiful and the graphics are great, particularly the 3 dimensional nature of the trees. The gameplay was decent. I liked the talk about dreams and the way you had the world break up at the end. My only issue was how creepy the Weaver, Sphinx, and Monk looked!
Funny game. I like the concept. The music and dialogue was funny and the idea of it being a show was cute. My one problem is that I didn't understand that the battle system was putting you stat for stat and that's how the "rounds" were determined. I would just load up on whatever the monster was "weak" to and didn't know why I was losing.
This is your worst game. As usual you have good atmosphere but the game play sucks. The shooting sections were repetitive and annoying. The only difficulty was the poor visibility. I kept wanting them to be over and was annoyed every time they came up. The talk with the pilot is a little too obvious with "1=0". I figured the code out, thanks.
Fun game. My only problem is that I as a player could tell that Lya was suspicious with the way she was hiding information, yet had to blindly go along with what she wanted. I liked how the puzzles made me go to other sites or look up things. The computer to the far upper left of the mainframe was tough to get done in time! My favorites were the bots, though the last one was tough.
Cool game. The music is fantastic. I love the risk/reward mechanic of scraping. One suggestion; the background of the first area looks like blank paper. Either put in a real background or make the ships look like drawings on paper.
Fun at the start and good gameplay... for awhile. The game drags on. I found no reason to switch knights. I kept the first 6 I had and breezed through battles. Ultimately I wanted the game to end and only kept going to finish it. Battles became a chore. All the classes have going for them is the "rock, paper, scissors" system. While I could assume the different zones had more of certain kinds of enemies, there wasn't enough of them to make me want to swap.
Interesting idea. Everything made sense and it was pretty fun. When I powered the 5th computer at the end I got a blank white screen then a "restart" cycling arrow with a link to the 2nd game. Probably an error. My only complaint was that I had to close the camera view to manipulate the camera and lights. It was annoying to have to open and close the camera over and over.
The black and white really add to the atmosphere and really detract from trying to find things. I was reduced to waving the cursor around looking for white text, not objects, in large areas like in front of the caves.
My favorite part is the newspaper. "Daily Rag: News for the area that this game was situated in." Good creepy atmosphere as usual. You made me not mind poking around for things to collect with good note pages and the collection simultaneously leading to progression but also being all over so I wasn't stuck in one area looking for 8-10 pieces of whatever. The investigation idea also makes collecting things make sense in the setting.
Thank you for no stupid "find the bits" segment. Is there more to come? I'd like to see more rooms and less puzzle repetition, though I understand if it saves resources to do the nano exam minigame 4 times.
Nice graphics and aesthetic. Robot at the end is ridiculous. Is getting attacked automatic if I open the vent? Is there anything to that or is it just a jab at the player for mindlessly obeying?
Cool atmosphere but there wasn't much to the gameplay. It was just a hunt for the samples mostly. I appreciate something to do at the end but it was jarring to suddenly be fighting a mech in an unfamiliar room having no clue what to do. I understood the idea of shocking it with electricity, but I have no idea what those wheels were.
Definitely different than the other two so it doesn't really feel like the same series. I still liked it though. It was really cool. The DNA game got old, but other than that I liked it. I loved using the alien head on the facial scanner. Hey, an alien doing something. I'd better blast him!
