Is there somewhere else we can access premium content until it gets posted here? Supposedly Bubblebox, but nothing's unlocked when I follow the in-game link.
you couldn't even steal the more recently-updated version? you are awful. seriously, the madness series is one of the longest-running and most popular series of games on the internet. you just tried to pass off a rubik's cube as your own invention.
when i clicked on the 'achievements' it wouldn't let me exit. my mouse disappeared, and no matter how hard i tried i couldn't click the 'close' button.
there are SO MANY parts of the game that are just totally broken! it isn't as if you're releasing grand theft auto, and have a massive industry breathing down your neck. why not take some time and smooth some edges? at least make it so there's always a way to get through a level?
you're also presenting some very very common fallacies about the larger schools of philosophical thought without allowing the correct responses and questions to those fallacies. the very first situation presents us with an objective right and wrong. right there, we need to tackle that before we even get into theologically-mandated philosophy. we're only asking and answering the questions and responses you've allowed. we're not doing philosophy here, we're doing mind-reading.
This is some well-thought out criticism. Thank you for your input =) I think part of this is inherent with trying to turn something as free-flowing as a debate in a game with concrete rules, that needs to have and end goal. Not all of it, though. If you want to send me a PM, I'd love to discuss this with you and see if you have any ideas for fixes.
this is a really cool idea, a phoenix wright for a different setting. unfortunately, the game itself is...clunky? at best. the dialog is so extremely boring and annoying to skip through. even philosophers like to get to the meat of the issue! also - much like phoenix wright - the options for questions/statements don't nearly match up to the context. i mean, it must be tough, but i think you've presented options that only logically follow for the people who wrote them, at times. i'm not going to rate this poorly, because at least you're trying to do something cool and different with a flash game. at least you're trying to push the medium, but...try harder?
wow. a study in frustrating mediocrity. if this is the alternative, i'd rather that american children practice killing cops on grand theft auto, than to try to get pleasure out of this abortion of a game.
better option: make them NOT temporary, like most other games out there. they could cost more, but this way is ridiculous. either drastically increase the research generated, or make the upgrades permanent.
this is not well-planned: if a player can't pass a stage, there's nothing they can do. there's no way to gain more money or experience, so if you're stuck, that's it. the game is decent aside from that, but of course, that is a game-breaking flaw, so it doesn't much matter how the rest of the game is - if you make a couple poor decisions, you don't get to experience the rest of it.
In fact, there's something the player can do :) If you try to replay the lost level you'll see that there will be a bit less enemies and you'll more likely to complete it.
But, anyway, tomorrow we'll update the game leaving the player some money and loot even if the level is lost.
there should be more games like this one. the minigames weren't great, but if more educational games are made, the quality of the gameplay will increase, as well. everything else was excellent - unique graphics, good sound, and the educational factor is beneficial to people of all ages.
