I've been idling making tanks for about 8 days now. 1 factory isn't optimised yet but don't see point as money isn't the big holdup, its research. I even have one of the 'extra' research boosts and its still going to take weeks to unlock the next thing; this is far too slow progression, as mentioned before you need smaller steps more often to keep things interested.
I don't object to an idle game being 'slow' - and while I am not claiming to be mathematically 'optimised' I've used all available space and based on current progress i'm going to have to let this sit for two days before I can afford to do anything. That's not really fun. I'd suggest adjusting the costs of upgrades or splitting them into smaller upgrades so that after a full overnight of idling, for example, you can actually afford to do something. Requiring 48+ hours between being able to afford anything is not really good for keeping peoples attention.
Reading comments here I used comps to cast cantrips of finding first...only to find that I beat level 40 and went into prestige and never actually needed to rest/look for more comps and now I've restarted at 0/15 in prestige. Kind of sucks, but lesson learned. Love the basic concept of the game, so much more can be done with it, hope to see updates!
Synergy system is great, but limiting skills by area kind of kicks it in the face. Take attack for example. The only place to level it pre lvl 40 is with the 2x bonus in Esterwoods. I'm level 32 and its going to take 37 hours of watching it go to hit level 40, approximately. I've got nothing else I can do in the meantime and other skills are even slower. Needs a bit more involvement unless you intend for people to log in once a day for 5 mins. Love the concept otherwise.
We are currently working on some ways to add player involvement... we have a few ideas that we think could be really cool! In the meantime, we re-balanced several quests and added skills to train in more areas. Thanks for playing!
Fun little time waster - balance feedback, it seems you need 100x as much wood as anything else, and scaling of gym+trainer is kind of meh in terms of damage blockability vs. how much damage is being done to you. At the beginning it was okay, but as you progress to cost to get more block is astronomical for a negligible (ie not noticeable) increase. I can block 100 billion damage, setting 5000 of my people to trainers but monsters are doing in the quadrillion/quintillion range, there doesn't seem to be a point?
Oddly addicting little idle game, as others have said, the mining to smelting upgrade cost should likely be addressed, ie a lvl 150 auto-smelt can't keep up with a lvl 250 auto-mine, but to upgrade the smelter to 151 costs around 1g, to upgrade the mine to 251 costs 180g.
I actually thought this WAS Kingdom Rush when I first loaded it up. I have no problem paying kreds to support the developers particularly if the game is original and interesting, but not only is this a clear copypaste of kingdom rush gameplay and graphics, not even a subtle ripoff, the prices are well into the ridiculous.
Really enjoy the game just same issues others have, game really starts to chug after a while needing browser refresh despite a high end PC; battle time starts to reallly slow down with all the animations of buffs/debuffs having to happen separately. Really could do with optimising or give an option to turn off all of the animations to improve performance.
Being able to obtain diamonds from repeating normal missions is nice, however mission 15 I have literally had to run through EIGHT playthroughs, killing everything in 1 turn and looting all treasure, to get from 4 stars to 5, (we wont mention how many times I've been through it to get to 4 stars in the first place). Could use some tweaking or more information on how to achieve more score per go (if its even possible?) because that was super tedious.
I really liked the concept and idea of this game, and the storyline was engaging and humorous. The gameplay however, quite often I felt that I knew how I wanted to attack the argument but it was unclear what specific combinations of choices would lead to that end, often resulting in needing to just run the board trying everything for everything until I got something that the game accepted. I'm not sure how this could be combatted given the need to present the user with a limited array of choices for each statement, but near the end it became more frustrating than fun. IE needing to clarify a specific statement to 'unlock' a challenge statement that you wanted to use in the first place, that sort of thing.
I really like this game, couple of little nags though - ability to speed up even more would be good, seems I spend a lot of time esp. at early levels just waiting for my people to do stuff. Also think the "perfect" rating should not be based on speed, but say, not losing units or some sort of score system that incorporates both ...fast seems sloppy.
Love the game, but few bits of feedback: I did not buy a single option from Griff's the entire game, even in the 'keep playing' mode with all upgrades, there were far better items from dungeons - the only thing I bought was potions and then not too often, as its possible to get first aid high enough to never lose health. I also dislike the skill penalties when working, its hard enough to get skills up without having to worry about minuses. Finally, there comes a point when there is nothing left to do, a 'really big epic dungeon' that perhaps randomized or had several floors would give this more replay value.
Its especially irritating because the five shiny things you get from premium, disappear, seemingly for good, unless I do a complete save wipe, I'll play for a bit, and not use them...then come back the next day....all shop unlocks reset, all inventory bags reset...and no shiny things >X Am I doing something wrong?
How come every time I come back to the game, my saved game is still there, characters still there, resume fine no problem, but all my bags/customisations are reset? Getting tired of paying over and over again.
Game has never loaded..asked me if I wanted to install music pack and I said sure. Waited 30 minutes it never downloaded. Now I start game again, and it doesn't give me the option to forget the music and try the game, just repeatedly gets stuck at the 'music is downloading' screen. Am I downloading an entire symphony?
Yea.. working ona way to fix this.
