Terrific game and I fully appreciate the production values and solid tactical gameplay. My only regret is that the business model does not enable you to publish the full game in its entirety. I suspect that if you are relying upon the random generosity of online gamers, you have probably received about $0. That should not be considered a reflection of how great your game is or of people's desire to see more.
Thanks for the comment. Yes, making a great game and making money are two completely different arenas. We seem to have a popular game now we need to make some cash as the money we've got so far doesn't cover my rent. 8)
I agree with most of the constructive feedback offered by others. There should be a way to redeem poor upgrade decisions. Allowing older levels to be replayed is an effective way of offering easier gameplay to those that feel like they need it. The diminished XP of using multiple ships is a terrific balancing device but seems redundant with the ship cap limit for each mission... one or the other, not both. Buying new level 1 ships in advanced sectors seems a bit wonky. Money seems redundant when there are ship limits and limited slots. If one could buy additional module slots, it would make money a more important concern. Overall, the game seems to favor a small number of powerful ships (usually your starting two) over a diverse fleet. Excellent game but needs some refinements to be superb.
So close yet so far away. The framework is terrific but the experience collapses under a mountain of small errors and inconveniences. What you need, Mr. Developer, is a rock-solid playtest team lead by someone with experience. They could offer you the punchlist of improvements that would put this game into A-list territory.
Progressively larger minefields is not enough of a game feature to warrant the solid production values. Maybe less energy in art and music and more energy on new features, next time.
It's not terrible and there are some fun innovations but some of the unclear "challenges" are irritating...like the chain bridges breaking for no apparent reason. I was able to beat all of the levels but it took a while. (The backwards arrow keys will start to feel natural around the 6th level or so.)
