Btw, it's worth saying (especially as I've gotten to test the game on another computer) that I'm still giving you five stars. I absolutely love RPGs. :)
Yes, I think it's almost certainly a Linux issue, as I'm also using that and Firefox.
It does work fine under Windows (borrowed a laptop to test it) with Firefox.
I have seen other 'font' issues - labels outgrowing the buttons slightly, words cut off, that kind of thing, but I've never seen text disappear entirely while playing on that computer - and I've played a great number of flash games on this site and others with that computer.
I'd be happy to help you test solutions if you need it.
Huh. I scanned through other posts but didn't see anyone else with my problem: Most of the text boxes are blank. The item description in my inventory and most of the people in town just give me blank boxes.
Will you _please_ tell us what's been updated when you reload the game? I played through it once, and I don't care to do it again unless some of the bugs (quest stuff mainly) have been fixed or new features (perhaps an _ending_) have been added.
This isn't a complaint about this game, exactly, but about flash games in general. Why, why, WHY do you have saves that don't include the game options? Muting the thing every time it's started up gets old. (I'm a curmudgeon, and I hate games with non-essential background music.)
I've tried this four times now, and this will be a card I can't get because it runs too slowly.
I have a 2 gigahertz computer, and there's nothing in this game - aside from flash - that couldn't have been done on a 386.
Hundreds of times more processing power, and it can't even process the MOUSE without lagging.
ON THE TITLE SCREEN.
I'm just insulted, both by you and by kongregate for having sponsored this.
Work on your code. Seriously.
I just found a bug: If you curse them to lower their defense more than they have, when it wears off it will go up to the amount you cursed them.
IE, it sounds like when the curse is applied, the limit is 0, but when it's removed, the value is added back in.
Um. It's Mastermind. You probably shouldn't copy their game and use their trademark. (For some reason, Arkanoid clones tend to be named Arkanoid too. I just don't get it.)
So, let me get this straight... a 3 will always match with a 7. Thus, despite adding in a little math... it really isn't different from standard Mahjongg. Bah.
A good click through game should have more than four puzzles. But I like the atmosphere, the plot, and the overall polish. 5/5, but please extend the game.
Umm. Please, don't disable the quality settings unless you know what you're doing. A flying fish collecting dots shouldn't be this slow on a 2 megahertz computer.
No badges or cards for me until I can play from a better computer. Bah.
