It's disappointing in its lack of attention to detail. You can only use the features of the phone in exactly the way they are intended to be used. You can't do searches on names that you don't need to search for. You can't call the Sleepy Pillow Hotel to find the room number, even though realistically you should be able to find it that way. Actually, I don't know how to find it.
Those comments about glitches aren't actually glitches. You're not supposed to be able to control the creatures after you set them moving. Everything flies forever.
I have huge respect for anyone who manages to do this game without using the 'shift' key. I have slightly less respect for the ones who didn't know about the 'shift' key because they didn't read the instructions.
Don't play it on casual mode because it's already too easy on normal mode. You keep all your upgrades when you start you next game so it gets easier every time you play. Hardcore mode is the only one where there is real challenge, but that one might be too hard. 5/5 stars for awesome Samurai action and mind-blowing graphics.
Actually, I changed my mind. This game badly needs kongregate high scores. Otherwise, what is your goal? -2 stars just for that. Maybe the freezing wasn't its fault, so I'll give it 3/5 stars.
I played it a second time and discovered that the last time wasn't a failure of instructions; it was just a glitch. It glitched on me again this time. 1/5 stars.
The instructions are terribly incomplete. They don't tell you how to buy turrets or soldiers. Following the instructions, all I can do is move soldiers around. I do that for a little while as monsters attack, then the monsters stop coming and I don't know why. Am I expected to do something now? 1/5 stars.
It's fun for a while, but I ended up quitting because it got boring way before I was going to be forced to let the screen fill up.I had around 3000 power points and there was no end in sight. 3/5
Your own towers and walls get in the way of seeing your village. I prefer tower defense games where there is no timer for the next wave. Nice graphics. 2/5 stars.
Developer says "it's too late to make the game better." That's a code phrase developers use when they don't care about their games. No game made by a developer who can't be bother to improve it is a good game. 1/5 stars.
The swinging is amazing. All the moves feel perfect; great control. The only problem is the enemies and how you react to getting hit. There isn't enough reaction, you can get hit without noticing it. Some of the smaller enemies can even hit you before you notice them at all. 4/5 stars.
Bazooka teams are useless. They cost huge resources, they have slow cooldown, and they are only two guys which are immediately killed because they won't take cover.
My troops won't stay behind cover, even if it is obvious certain death to advance. Why even have an advance button if they always just charge ahead? 1/5 stars.
To get the accuracy challenge to start, you need to click then press R. They don't tell you that you need to click, it's just a mystery requirement. That's like the tip of an iceberg; there's a ton of other glitches and bad features, but this one is so obvious that you know the rest are in there somewhere because Plumpman isn't even getting rid of the obvious ones. 1/5 stars.
