Remind me to not use the bathroom in Clarence's house, it's filled with police wildly firing into the air, and at least one of the toilets empties directly into a bathtub...
Huh, i left the game on in the background paused while I did other stuff for a few hours, when i came back it worked ok for a few minutes, and then all the sudden my character stopped moving, my health bar completely drained (with nothing around), and then the screen turned black and didn't even game over so i'd get a new title...
Wow, I see what people mean about the higher difficulties. It's really frustrating when a survivor dies every turn for 4 turns straight, so you end up with no manpower to defend your fort, no manpower to expand your fort, and no happiness. This is even with rushing to get a hospital up within the first week and a half, BTW. Game was pretty fun on normal, but the higher difficulties are just stupid.
i don't understand why enemy snipers 1 hit kill any of my units, but my snipers take several shots to kill anything even with a damage increase armor. is the damage boost talent outclassing my armor boost talent by that much?
It's really annoying how the first like 5 waves on each level are completely pointless, and there's no checkpoints, so if you're trying for 3 gold stars and mistime a repulsor late in a level, you have to watch your guys murder monsters with no input from you for another 10 minutes.
Game is too bloody random. My personal favorite is how a random half of the party picks a random level every day to spawn on. It's also cool how adventurers are randomly generated in a random order, and they stay in that order, so if it's innefective, too bad. As is the game doesn't hold my interest because I have no control over anything and don't really feel like I'm accomplishing anything each level.
How does this game have such a rating so close to 4? I can't imagine giving this game anything better than a 1. Every character might as well have 1 attack, and there's no reason to ever play anything that doesn't fly... the huge number of unlocks just serve to make the unlocks more random, and add to the tedium of playing through the same couple levels 8 dozen times.
Had trouble on one of the super late levels so I went to the walkthrough video someone posted and almost all his solutions are different than what I did. Kind of neat.
Not really liking the priest too much... it felt really weak until i respecced to get maxed power word shield, and now i never have to rest, but i also don't do anything else, so it's really not an interesting character. I like the druid, however, mostly because of master shape shifter. The stat boost is very noticeable, and i like actually having options when it comes to gear, instead of having it be determined by class.
why does the wind get stronger when i get into space? i get out of the atmosphere and all the sudden i cannot control my ship without aiming into the wind and boosting non-stop.
Way way way too random. Battles feel like they come down to a roll of the dice a lot of the time, opponents are random, loot is random, how much items sell for is relatively random, whether or not the shop will ever sell anything worthwhile is random... add in that meaningful character progress takes forever, the apparent lack of a story, and a lot of abilities just not working, and I wonder how this game is so close to 4 or got badges.
Amazing game, well done. I had a lot of fun with bouncing forked shots, especially when combined with beam attacks or area attacks, so the 4 hits turn into 2 hits on all targets in range and 3 on 2 of them. "Lag" seemed a bit powerful, especially for the cost, but then you get it so late that it's not really an issue.
At real hospitals, do they really send all the butt cancer patients to the med students? I've only diagnosed a dozen or so and half of them had butt cancer.
game's pretty ok. bug where you get none of the spoils from a level if you die from poison after winning, but before you hit the continue button is pretty annoying. behemoth freeze chance might be a little too high, most bosses can only move about 30% of the time due to freeze. also, disable resistance affects the duration of disables that beast supers (like behemoth) place on you, so the positive lasts longer than the negative.
Don't see why there are so many complaints about levelup speed. it's slow at first, but i just leveled 3 times from one level, and it wasn't even particularly hard.
