Man, I love having enemies randomly spawn inside of me and do my entire health bar instantly when they do. It's so much fun to lose randomly for no reason!
game randomly decides that the last enemy building isn't a target for any of my ships all the friggin time, forcing me to surrender matches that i already won.
I don't understand why wheelies don't count if your wheel leaves the ground at all during the trick. With how floaty everything is in this game it makes them really frustrating.
Saving often doesn't work correctly if one does not make sure to go to the main menu before closing the window. It might be something for the developer to look into so it doesn't happen in the future, but for now at least the workaround is super easy.
At first it annoyed me that the melee upgrades don't work on the powerful units that are likely the ones that ultimately win you the game, but after awhile I've come to appreciate that you end up wanting to get as few of them as possible so you don't have as much wasted money later, and it turns into trying to optimize your early game so you don't need as much power on your front line troops so you can transition into full time drakes or golems easier.
It's amusing to see the comments about "invulnerable" towers while I'm trying an impossible difficulty run. On impossible, the towers get crazy enough that they will instantly kill anything smaller than a hero or a drake and will tear through even tough units starting almost immediately, but you can still beat it, you just have to make sure you get a catapult up and protect it for as long as you can manage once it gets into firing range. It adds an interesting dynamic to the game that I actually kind of prefer.
I like the game for the most part, but I would definitely prefer a difficulty system where the level changes in some way apart from just that the enemies are a bit harder and you get a little more xp. I was also a bit disappointed that you took the don't touch my gems style grindy xp system, as that was easily the worst part of that game, and it seems even harder to level up after a little while in this game. I also wasn't a huge fan of the big towers that let you place little towers nearby idea, although it was certainly cool that you tried something new, and it didn't really bother me that much overall. All in all, I liked it but there is certainly room for improvement.
I love beating all the horsemen, and then not having any rank 4 or better units and getting singlehandedly beaten by longbowmen every time at like battle 3 or 4.
I like the game, I feel like there is a bit of room for improvement, but this is still fun and has a bit of character. I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that the basic monsters are pretty much the same, because some variety is nice, but a lot of times people put in monster types that are just awful or poorly balanced, and when I think about that I don't mind so much. The unlock pacing seemed a bit slow to me, especially the way you don't really get anything for beating the boss of each world is a bit of a let down. I'm also a little worried fully upgraded lightning might be too rediculous.
I don't understand what I'm supposed to do about the guys that disable every tower on the screen for like 10 seconds when they die. Am I expected to just always have stop up, even when they're coming several waves in a row?
what are people talking about with challenges being grindy? I guess I haven't gotten the last one yet, but the only challenge that has been hard enough to need more than 1 level to get gold in was the bowling pin one, and I kind of feel like that's just because I'm bad at it.
I don't understand what the audience for this game is, it's an MMO that takes a great deal of time, and yet has almost 0 feeling of progress, customization, or challenge, at least as far as the first 3 zones. I level up, and basically all it does is refill my energy bar; the max energy increase only increases speed of grinding towards badges and income, and the skill points only serve to take away deck building limitations that feel kind of random in the first place aside from deck size. Equipment doesn't do much, is STILL glitched out, and yet you sure still don't get much of it at all. There's no challenge for hours of play, so even when you're not waiting on energy, you're waiting on masses of trivial fights. The only difficulty so far was at the very start, when you are forced to use decks so awful that you can't reliably win until you grind up the cash to get patently better cards. I don't tend to give out 1 star ratings, but I really can't see the upside in this game.
I don't understand how to get the claim over 20 walls award, I stole like 30 walls, and then I stole 21 in one level just to be sure, and randomly placed them around my house just to be sure, and still nothing.
