I don't know if everyone else is playing the same game I am. I've only played around 10 games but, I haven't lost once. The computer seems to get about the same luck that I do.
When there is an option to disable the tutorial I expect it to disable the tutorial instead of constantly interrupting me when I try to play. I like this game but that was really irritating.
This is an average turret defense game. No bells, no whistles, no glaring problems, and nothing to suggest it above the scores of other games of its ilk. A totally competent and completely forgetable effort.
CoVi: the rolls to hit and crit happen at the same time (one number determines both if you and if you crit.) So, Popo's slingshot usually hits and crits 50% of the time hits without crit 10% and misses 40%. If Popo's hit chance is reduced at all then any of the slingshots that hit necessarily have to be crits as well. While it is unlikely that a thrice debuffed Popo hits three times, all of the hits would be criticals.
Vice123: While many of the moves are luck dependent (stuns, interrupts, etc.) the attack/intercept choices which determine the bulk of the game are not based on luck but on reasoning. One must determine what an opponent is going to do even as the opponent does the same. There is no luck inherent to this process.
@ Kamikazoo, grandpaegg, and others: The hit percentages are correct. If you play enough and stop focusing on the times you miss rather than the times you hit you will come to realize this. There are still going to be games where you miss 3 times in a row, these are just a part of a normal statistical deviation.
wasteroftime: pay no attention the apparent speed of moves with quickening powder. The item works as it says it does but you (and your opponent) won't know whether it is going to trigger before it actually does.
Flameonfish: the computer is actually much worse than the average human player, it does not know what you're going to do and makes all of its decisions based on strict formulas, making it really easy to predict. It misses as often as anyone else and, the speed of its attacks are the based on the characters it uses and aren't any faster than if you used those same characters. This game is far from perfect but, don't call it crap because you're terrible at it.
wowhead: the marquis' teleport has a 100% hit chance but only changes the range 95% of the time so it is possible for it to hit for damage but then leave you at far range. This is by design.
I guess even more significant than the fact that the rating of the game has little to nothing to do with the fixing of bugs is the fact that the game has 48,000+ ratings. Even if you got every one of the 100 or so people who read these comments to change their ratings you would have about zero effect on the overall rating of the game. I'm all for getting bugs fixed but, you should try something a little more reasonable than a chain comment.
Quitis: As far as I can tell, only one of the three bugs you've mentioned is an actual bug. First, I don't know when you last used origami crane but I tested it extensively after the last update and it works, unless its been disabled by phoebe, a character with origami crane will never miss regardless of debuffs. Second, you and others, seem to think the hit percentages are off, they're not. Third, the anex vs. anex or so-called "host bug." This is a legit problem, the host of a game has their attacks resolve first leading to the problem with anex vs. anex. I agree that this needs fixing in a major way but, I don't think the rating of the game has anything to do with if or when this happens. Certainly, the creator of the game has already been informed.
another easy way to beat the spartans on normal: just buy the space laser and fully upgrade radius and ammo, it me took one try and none got to the wall.
jsk03005: he didn't say he missed 8 in a row, he said he missed 8 times. and while missing 8 in a row is extremely unlikely i'm sure its happened to someone. this still does not mean the hit percentages are messed up. If they were messed up, how? What sort of glitch accounts for one person missing a lot while their opponent (and everyone else playing) is unaffected. I'm in the middle of a pretty bad losing streak (involving, among other things, some critical misses) but I'm not going to start saying the game is broken because I missed some important hits. Remember the first rule of sportsmanlike gaming: Thou Shalt Not Blame the Controller
Rainlow: I think people were a little confused about how you racked up more than 500 wins in less than 2 days and came to the not unreasonable conclusion that you were cheating somehow. I'm not saying that you were but those sorts of stat jumps border on the unbelievable. I've certainly grinded out a lot of wins in my day but never anything close to that.
trouvel: Tafari with tiger's claw is almost entirely useless. The only attack on which the claw might have any effect is ambush, which is used more as a threat than anything.
Trouvel: Honestly, without items you're probably better off not playing a character. It sucks to loss mirror match because of inferior equipment. I'd suggest playing on random if you don't have enough cards. If you're totally set on playing without an item, go with tafari.
