DO NOT play when tired or shortly before bedtime. I knew what was coming and yet actually jumped out of my seat a couple of times, and felt the hairs on the back of my neck do a standing freaking ovation, even though they never do with a "horror" movie. Bravo to you sir. Night night, sleep tight, don't let the sinister depths of the silent void bite...
Why on earth is there no defence against grenades? That in itself renders most gear builds useless except for fast and light, finishing the enemy off from a decent range or bumrushing all in one turn. Only way to avoid this instakill is to have the only health-boosting item. Even then I feel like restarting. Not enough balance or in-game data, like Kirisukeru said. Otherwise a fair distraction. 3/5
1. Max Batty Bounce and Ground Bounce. Scatter the rest of your points into the Ground units, redistributing occasionally into Bounce, then later Glide. 2. Upgrade your first kicker fully, skip 1 or 2 of the following 4 kickers. 3. Spam dash and pray you don't hit Blobert or Bat Gangs(Which are AWFUL). Get lots of meteors and save your Smashes for when you are desperate. 4. Complete the game and rate down to 3 stars due to BROKEN upgrades and grindy, unbalanced game play.
OMG, to the DEVS: People have been going on about the lag NON-STOP. The main point of comments is to get feedback and fix any issues. So FIX them! Or at least respond to say whether or not you'll bother.
A game that rewards skill with locking further levels until you A. Grind mind-numbing amounts of skullies or B. Pay your own money which you probably grinded in your real life job to get. Hmmmm. I choose NEITHER! Medium badge and goodbye. Shitty pay to play. It can't call itself a real game, 1/5.
Played for 10 minutes. TOO. MANY. CLOTHES. Needs gaming equivalent of a personal fashion assistant. And this coming from a semi-slobbish man who still wears t-shirts with rips and holes, because they are fine to sleep or lounge in. I also occasionally store clothes using the pile method. But in a game? This is NOT good enough. FIX. Thank you.
Great game. Love how every level throws something a little different at you. Have to say though that exploration can be glitchy, if you move too quickly you don't seem to grab ledges often. Many of the items are also garbage. Handcuffs? Please. I never used kicking except on accident as it was terrible. Masamune also left me kind of dissapointed. Elf sword was already good enough but more importantly let me use more magic. WHICH, in this game, is AWESOME. Very satisfying to fly into your enemies at 60 mph slinging an ice blitz into their face or zap enemies from behind objects. 4/5
I felt the hard, cold steel of my beretta digging like teeth on my thigh as I leapt from each rooftop, my quarry painting me a thin, red arrow in the snow. Then I ate a floating banana called Pedro and turned into the angel butterfly of death. But in a really film-noir way.
Managed to get it smooth enough to be playable but still really laggy! Seriously though, you have a great game here, I had the patience to play it through to the end and enjoyed it. Would have liked an optional mega boss or "Challenge" mode, Dungeon Master was a pushover. Please heed the others' comments and iron out the kinks, to make it gamer friendly.
Great game, but some contracts are plain awful and you can get stuck on them forever, and how can you justify squandering precious GP over them? E.G. "Make 5 ragekills on Old Sawmill DM map". Not any Sawmill, that SPECIFIC map. When there might be only 1 viable match at a time, if that. I often have no opportunity to attempt it, even ignoring the number of silenced-shotgun-wielding lame bushcampers. Let us skip some other way, like contract reshuffle once a week!
Great game, some of the upgrades are imbalanced though, particularly the weapons. I only used the starting knife (and bow)until unlocking the battle armor sword. Reasons: 1. Other weapons too expensive 2. the experience damage boost (+3) is the same for all weapons so only really benefits the fast attacking ones. 3. The other ones didn't even have better range or other compensating properties.
Yeah, the search skill really is weak. Without decent melee on the same survivor they just jeopardize your search party. Always ended up using them as filler for the other jobs. Example: Charles Clark, ageing but sprightly man with a charming smile. Skills: 1 shooting 1 melee 3 search. Instantly assigned to role of reloading bitch.
What a terrible game. I hope she grazes her formidable and diverting bosom every time she falls, and learns her lesson about distinguishing obstacles and threats before they're 5 metres from her face.
