Love the game, but my main peeve is the slow walk speed/mushy walk controls. It takes a long time to explore the map and it's irritating. There's a delay in response and it's unnecessarily time-consuming. Otherwise, this is really fun.

That was a game I was sad to finish.
Some suggestions for the developer:
1) It would be nice to pay the miner to find materials. Would take away some grinding.
2) Some apple recipes.
3) I assume the quartz is simply for selling, but it would have been nice to know that before the game ended. I assumed I'd need it for trading. Same with the diamonds.
4) Adding fishing/fishermen would be fun.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! The miner actually digs and puts coal in the storehouse for you without having to pay her (although, she's a lot slower and moving/mining than you are). Quartz does have planned uses for the second island when we add it - you will be able to turn it into silicon for higher tech upgrades. And fishing is definitely planned for a later update :). Love this game. Casual, fun, requires some strategy, but nothing overwhelming. Nicely done random drops and I love the "sell -> chest" option. Takes money out of the game and having to make a choice between two great items keeps the game interesting. I agree, we need an NG+ option! 5/5
Okay, some tips:
If you want to be a true completionist, do it on the way. Yes, you'll get more money for better clovers, but it's a pain to go back and rebreed them at the moment since there's no way to get a solid color higher than the base.
Set your breeders to be a whole base color and a whole next tier color. This will randomize the mutations best. Obviously, the higher number mutations you generate each turn the better this works. If you can only make one or two mutations, then keep swapping out clovers that are about half and half.
You will not need gold after a while, long before you "complete" the game. Therefore, work on finding all the possible mutations as you go because each discovery increases the rate at which you will accumulate science and that's really the difficult currency to get.
If you are having trouble unlocking the next tier, be patient. Pair up the solids for the next tier and wait. You will (eventually) get that mutation you want.
For me, this game is SUPER laggy. This is probably sloppiness in the Flash assets, I'm guessing. There's no reason a game like this needs to run in high gear. At least provide a "low graphics" mode to alleviate lag.
Hum, it's not registering mouse clicks from my Mac through Firefox. I can click elsewhere in the game and it works, just not to make the cuts. Probably a coding error.
I really enjoyed this game and would love to see a longer version. My only minor complaint is that due to the high pixilation that it can be difficult to tell if something is possible to do or not. However, I did figure it out anyway, so it wasn't something that prevented me from completing the game. Some frustration isn't bad.
The lag is pretty awful even on the lowest settings. This makes me think there's a serious programming deficiency since there are not that many assets in this game. This needs to be improved. Also, AUTO-FIRE. There's no reason not to be firing in this game and you can't shoot and move at the same time. This is annoying gameplay.
I enjoy this game, but the energy management needs to be improved and it's not acceptable to press people to share things all of the time. IT DOESN'T WORK in terms of building a player base.
If you want players, deal with energy better (refill energy when leveling, get a bigger tank when leveling), don't rely heavily on friends - that should give you bonus stuff, not required stuff), and have special events possible for starting players to do (level limit the special events). Also, make sure all the English is correct. Pay a native speaker to do corrections.
