I'm not a huge fan of this genre, but I thought for a flash game this was quite good. Not laggy, good story good ambiance, and you had to stay on your toes. However, the "getting stuck in the floor" crap dropped my rating. Not that there's anything wrong with getting stuck in the floor, at first I thought it was a brilliant mechanic, until I realized it was a bug and not part of gameplay as there was no way out. It's a solid game, the developer just needs to get rid of a few bugs... so to speak.
The idea is pretty good, but for a game that requires tight maneuvering, the controls are too soft and the recharge time on your energy field is ridiculously slow for the number of missiles coming at you all of the time.
deliverything: most computers have an "invert" display option in the accessibility section of the operating system. You could turn that on while you play this game.
I like the idea, but the execution needs a bit of thought. If you can't actually control the ability to get combos, then this is just a silly button-mashing game. 2/5
Fun holiday game. A bit too easy though, but I also hate arbitrary difficulty in what are essentially random-event games, so it gets the job done. It amused me for several minutes and reminded me that it's almost Christmas.
This was really fun. I'm not really very good at tower defense games, so while some complain this wasn't a challenge, I found it a nice difficulty level. Nothing wrong with giving a 1.5x enemy health option though I guess. Anyway, I hate these games and I enjoyed this one. 5/5
So... the hit detection is REALLY annoying, especially in collecting coins. Too many power ups drop and they aren't very useful really. I like the idea, but the execution is rough. 2/5
The main problem with this demo is that I can reduce the "targets" to JUST the head/heart targets and it never registers as a kill. THe gun also seems designed to shoot everything but the targets in a certain burst pattern. I can also spray into a crowd emptying an entire clip and hit none of the actual "targets". This is extremely frustrating in terms of gameplay.
This game is pointlessly difficult. A huge part of a fun game is the difficulty ramp. A player should feel as though more progress is possible. This one starts senselessly difficult and gets worse and the problem is that I can't even be bothered to try for the hard badge. What is the point? Maybe if I could get a "life" with each level, or see more of the field so I could plan better, or have some time to get power ups to slow rotation or something, but this game is just difficult and boring. Sorry. 2/5
Glad to hear that, thanks for playing! :)
