Alblaka, it's hard to directly hack the game since it's linked to kongregate's servers. However, it would be relatively easy to change hit rates, dodge rates, item effect rates etc.
Amending what twinge said: It only works in rated games, however. In unranked, a total newb could fight twinge (or someone similarly godly at Kongai). What happened to you was probably in an unranked.
A 5-card deck WITHOUT Zina, Amaya, and Voss totally fails, but it doesn't work nearly as well in a 3-card. If for no other reason, Voss and Amaya are easy to kill, and Zina's all-hit is limited to long range, making her easy prey to the vast hoardes of Anexes being run by everyone and their brothers.
