There isn't much enjoyment in blind explosions in a maze game. Would have been better to have many different kinds of traps that reveal after first time you die on them so you don't keep dying in the same place twice. I know this is the point of the game, but it isn't very fun.
Kong game developers should be forced to watch these little lessons before posting their games. Unless of course they are making an idle game in which case, not a great deal of this applies :)
So I rebuilt the picture... Did I win? No way to know, game just keeps going. Probably would help to add a few things like pieces snap into place when correct, new pieces that you pick up should always be the foreground layer and not hide as you move them, some nice music, and more pics. Expert mode is a good idea, and probably should have an intermediate level where you get to see the pic for 3 seconds and then it goes away.
Before people go slamming this, he said its for GiTD (make a game in ten days, set to the theme). I quite liked it, but if feels as though it should be an idle game (I did ok, by upgraded a little and then going to the toilet, when I came back I was loaded with cash!) and so have more incentive to gain ridiculous amounts of cash, such as more expensive secret items. I'm a little puzzled by the secret item (is it supposed to just float over there?)
Seriously, it takes 5 minutes to copy the "basic controls" screen into the instructions box. People generally don't want to spend their time reading walls of text before playing, they like to learn as they go. Its better to keep instructions close by as a reference. How are so many game developers not getting this? Apart from my little whine, this is actually quite fun, its simple and provides a challenge. Probably a bit of variety in the music could help though as it is quite repetitive.
Nice game :) Buying extra clicks + diameter seems pointless though as all you need to do is buy psychic smilies and after a while buy some multi smileys and then nothing but normals for big $$
I liked this, plays well and entertaining music, but it did become tedious fairly quickly. I think that it would help to break it up a little by having short levels/missions, basically have more challenges to do. Maybe the bonus word could have a time limit and change to something else?
I was making a few mistakes due to the fact that I assumed better grammar and typed that instead. eg "so he BOUGHT a fat cat..." or "they decided to type a bell AROUND its neck." Not a bad game, but it does really need more articles to type.
That was fun! I spent nearly an hour on it and escaped with 44 orbs :) Hint for anyone trying it, colour code your map heaps, mark colour key lock, where you saw puzzles etc. Don't bother writing hints on it though, just use scrap of paper, much easier!!
Lol at "bark." Apart from that, quite a nice game, reminds me of the concepts in elastomania. Really needs music to set the mood and possibly a mini-map. I stopped playing after level 4 as it was a bit repetitive by this point. Maybe it gets better..?
Everyone is commenting on the spelling (which is bad, but pretty standard for the internet these days) but overall it is a pleasant trivia game and encourages you to try games you may not have heard of. Good work :)
