Interesting. One thing: I don't like the way you're limited to moving one column after another each turn, rather than any column at any time. Seems like an unnecessary constraint.
Sigh. I guess I should have expected badges for this... the lowest that games can possibly sink. It's a shame I can't rate it at 0 stars. Maybe I'll even get the medium badge myself by reading a list of instructions that someone else has posted. LIKE EVERYONE ELSE HAS.
OK if you like these kinds of puzzles. I mean the answers could be ANYTHING, really, short of learning to code so you can reprogram the game. The completely linear nature of the whole thing kind of killed it for me... I'd have preferred a more Braid-like structure where your brain could be working on several puzzles at a time.
Ugh. One of those games that seems to exist purely to have somewhere to put a bunch of achievements and upgrades. Can't stand the way the screen scrolls, throwing off your aim. I got an achievement for playing for 4 minutes; I'd consider that a hard achievement to collect.
This is such a rip off of 'Every Day The Same Dream' it isn't even funny. Adding this overarching objective to the game is a terrible idea which stifles exploration.. why on earth would you not go to work every day to find a cure? Personally, I failed, and I think the reason is that I wasn't allowed to do any work on day 2 because I spent the entire day having a 30 second conversation with a guy on a rooftop. How terribly realistic. I'm aware that with a little hacking I could play again but it's too boring for me to want to. Every Day The Same Dream is subtle and brilliant; this is crass, heavy handed and awful.
Well, see, I do hate games with persistant tech trees. But I''m inclined to make an exception in this case. Well implemented, and requires some serious bullet dodging. Not a great game, but certainly a good one.
Reasonable implementation, but I've played much better. The colors detract from the readability of the puzzles. And personally I find that clicking repeatedly on a square to cycle through options is nicer than having to shift-click, or click elsewhere.
Even my OCD isn't strong enough to compel me to play through this difficult and unrewarding game. And I've played all the Epic Wars (for the badges, you understand).
