Fun. I only have two suggestions. One, lasers don't seem to be much use. Two, it would be cool if there was an infinite wave mode. Only playing 20 waves isn't fun for long. Other than that it was nice.
This is just way beyond being too difficult. First, you barely get enough cash to upgrade anything between rounds. Couple that with having to repair and rebuild things you've already upgraded, and it becomes near impossible. Apparently, from some of the comments, people are playing it through, but I'd assume they're only the best gamers. I can't get beyond a few waves.
Can't beat level 9. I've done all I can with it. I've tried every strategy I can think of, so I'm done. Decent game. I gave it 3 stars. It kept me occupied for a week or so.
Pure towers are definitely the way to go. Mixing gems to get different combinations is a waste of time. Getting a 100% damage boost for each element makes the game easy.
Extremely easy once you get the courage armor. I'm not really a fan of hack and slash flash games, but it kept my interest long enough to see it through.
Nevermind, the end finally came. I beat the last dude in two or three rounds, and didn't take any damage myself. A little too easy, but nice game anyway.
Does the game ever end? I beat the dude at the third arena, after the dude that was supposed to have died in the tournament the previous year, and it just keeps going. Is there more to the story, or does it just go on to infinity? I like the customization, and the different upgrading paths. I think there should be more customization though. Also, the game is way too easy.
You get to a point where you can't beat the next enemies, but the experience from the previous battle isn't enough to level you up sufficiently. If I had specific materials to make one or two specific items, I could probably keep going. However, materials are so rare to come by, and I have no idea which battles produce which materials. That's why I have to only give it 3 stars.
Well, I take back my other comment. I didn't know you could fight the Mysterious Hermit 'til now, and I got whooped, so there's probably a better strategy. I only got his health down to 700 or so.
The best strategy is to be in burning hill, get the magic that increases your special, get the magic that combines all your bolts into one, and use those to dominate. If you want overkill, you can also get the magic that doubles your attack. It's wholly unnecessary though. You'd have something like a 450+ attack. I got Great Mage, and number one in the Book of Mages easily that way. No one was any small amount of competition once you power everything up.
The final boss is too tough. I spent 29 hours or so on the game to find out I can't beat the final boss. That's so super lame I can't even think straight. All the medal gathering, side quest finishing, and equipment upgrading for nothing!! I mean, seriously, five on three?? That's fair to you? I can't kill his companions 'cause he'll summon one of those space monoliths and then I'm really screwed. It's unfair. I'd have to play it 30 times or something to get lucky enough to beat it, and I don't have the patience for it.
The game doesn't work. After you conquer the first location it takes you to the pause screen and that's it. It doesn't take you back to the map so you can continue. I pushed every button on the screen, and nothing takes you to the map. I even surrendered, and it wouldn't let me do that.
