There's a glitch in the game. Once you beat the level with no objectives, which you said was unbeatable, it takes you to the War Report screen, but it won't let you save and continue. Also, the game is a little easy. I wasted nine or so upgrades on my general, which was never needed in battle, and I still was never in any real danger of losing any of the conflicts up to the level where it wouldn't allow me to continue.
One part I don't like is if you make one mistake and forget to turn your cannons the right direction before the attack, you pretty much just wasted an hour. Being able to pause the game and turn them during the attack would be good.
finally got to the medium levels, but one complaint i have is the drone parts never activate any drones. i see enemies with drones, but mine never spawn.
dang man, i can't even do the first easy level. i try to use a torpedo thing against the enemy base, but it only takes the shields down and doesn't do any shell damage. i also can't hold the bases. no defense i leave in place is enough because there's a dang turret limit. this game is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too hard.
screen is too big. you can't use the scroll bar during a battle just to be able to view the map and fighter parts. both are too vital to the game. it's virtually unplayable.
meh. didn't keep my interest long enough to play the other campaign. i don't care what you say, hotkeys are necessary if you aren't going to have an auto-attack feature. also, you don't get near enough money for completing levels. having to replay levels a dozen times to get enough money to get and level up elite units is very boring. my advice would be to create many more levels for each campaign, but even still up the money some. you gotta cut down on replaying levels.
how is this the best strategy game? top 25 ranking maybe, but the best it is not. it's pretty much a straightfoward tower defense game with a few novelties thrown in. gimme a break.
i beat the apprentice 'cause he got caught on the corner of a body of water and stopped moving. my gunslinger and a pupil magician went off on him for several minutes.
i've now used a myriad of strategies and i can't even get past the first half of the first map. i reiterate, it's way too difficult. i do like the experience gathering of the towers. some of the other things i don't like, other than the difficulty and inflated prices to upgrade, is how the poison tower shoots at the target closest to the exit. poison towers should target unpoisoned enemies with each shot. unless the difficulty is changed i have to give it a 2/5, because as it is it is unplayable for me unfortunately.
way too difficult. i don't know what people are talking about with that frost tower stuff. i had one and it only mildly helped. also, it costs way too much to upgrade the reload times of the towers. i mean, $750 to make the gun tower go from 25 to 23? that's a great way to waste enough cash to lose the game.
does a supreme godlike shirt exist? i've made about a dozen supreme godlike gloves and boots. i've made several supreme godlike leggings and hats, but no shirt. also, what weapons exist? i've made a sword, hammer, spellbook, and dagger. is there anything else?
it would be more enjoyable if the items didn't get more goofy as the game goes on. my dude is wearing clown shoes, pajama pants, some tattered orange shirt, and attacking enemies with a big broom. that's pretty lame, but they're the best items i've come across in 585 weeks.
pretty fun, but it would be twice as good if the base would slowly regenerate health. it's hard to want to play this game knowing there's no way to heal your base.
