Training is actually cool because you can test out the damage of your attacks and spells without worrying about dying. Plus, I tested out the critical hit rate bonus from the barbarian gear to see if it was worth it.. I feel it is not. :)
TO CONFIGURE YOUR BUTTONS: Search for "joy to keys". It's a free program that turns any joystick input into keyboard commands. I use it for all these flash games. :) I have a ps2-style controller to play with. Much better than the keyboard. :) Happy gaming!
The bonuses for Time Stopper, Massacre, etc. should NOT decrease as you continue on in the game... makes no sense. Also, this game *NEEDS HOTKEYS*! Still a great game. :)
MULTIPLIER MATH: For those of you curious about the multiplier's effect on total damage output, here goes: 20% chance for 4x damage -> 80% of the time is 1x damage and 20% is 4x. Let x = tower damage. Therefore; 1x * .8 (80%) + 4x * .2 (20%) = .8x + .8x = 1.6x. A total damage increase of +60% ... you're welcome :D
I think I have the worst luck - *ever*! I go on 4 missions with less than 4% failure rate - and *3* fail! WTF!? I don't mind having terrible odds for winning - but this is absurd!
The puzzle with the 6 colors and the animal pegs: the color doesn't matter, you have to match their properties. When you match a group, they lock out so you know they're correct. Crustaceans, Mammals, Flight-capable birds, Flightless birds, Marsupials & Sea Creatures
Make your leader's stats at 4 Attack and 2 Def. I thought that trading would be a useful stat, but you end up with plenty of money - you need attack and defense to take over cities and fight off/attack pirates/traders
I agree with the post made on jayisgames.com: instead of having S/M/L materials, just have the M/L mineral deposits give 3x & 9x more materials rather than having M/L requirements. That way, we don't need to craft/split higher/lower size materials. Great game, btw :)
