It's like I'm really playing Mushroom Wars. Actually this is pretty neat, but too simple to have much replay value. Expand it and you'll make some money I think.
Gets pretty easy once you find/are told a good formula. It's too bad people want to play this game for you with direct formulas instead of some general tips like: 1. More goblins means more raids means less damage boosts 2. Know when to stop trying to save a unit; that MP could be used to make the next unit last over twice as long. 3. Turtles work well in the start when you have few/weak units, but they're useless once you have a decent army.
Pretty good attempt but it could be a lot more interactive. Two ways you could go with it... either some direct control over the party leader with some active skills, or keep it as more of a management game with deeper customization. I like the latter idea better, so here's some suggestions for a sequel: more people to hire than just students; things like teachers to improve LP gains or alter which stats a student prefers, guest speakers that alter how students grow that week, and peripheral staff like security and gardeners for small long term gains. Your school should get attacked in various ways occasionally, like by rival schools or book thieves. You should be able to build too, dorms to increase the number of students you can have at once and libraries to give your idle students a little LP per week, stuff like that. It would make for a great game.
Decent game, but it has some clipping into the wall/ceiling issues when you have high move/jump levels. Regeneration doesn't work either; when you pick up a health drop it stops.
