This one was far better than the sleepy knight one! For you stuck players stuck at various levels. "The hatchet returns and bounces, consider your return angle and position." That should tell you all you need.
So many issues in the game. Hard to see which note needs to be clicked since they are so close and which needs to be held?! Intros that takes forever, timings are off. Start over, remake and come back.
In the previous game you could substitute the semicolons in mac addresses with "-". Kinda hard to play when one cant get SFC. Please enable that again for people with nonenglish keyboard layouts. Couldnt get the game to accept any mac address since none of my keys would produce that symbol. I tried them all and used shift with all too. No semicolon. If i used my ":"key all i got was "
Shitty design when if you pick the wrong upgrade you cant finish, you are stuck at 6 coins for the 2nd. Really evil and i was ready to give it 1 star, however, after the reset for some reason the bought upgrade was still active. Simply annoying having to replay the levels but ok 2 stars then.
Bought only legs with keys all game and had no issues with progression, leftover keys 6 so I got 2 uncommon after final boss was dead. Uncommons are bad real bad. Avoid them!! First legendary worth 5k gold i got had still better stats than the 30k gold worth uncommons i opened at the end of the game.
I honestly dont know where to start on level 9. You burn instantly when you land everywhere... Whereever the start is supposed to be its way too pixelperfect and obtuse. One small error in design can spoil the whole thing and this is it.
Loving all of this game. Control seems tight. Chiptune music is on point and can be muted for those who have no soul :D The pixel art is good, looks like a hybrid old consoles and general pixelart. Progression is hit and miss. Slight cliping up onto ledges if hitting it just at the side. I love it nevertheless. Five stars.
I dont get it. How am i supposed to get close to or past Mages with fireballs. Tried about 20ish times now. Its always long straight corridors and they blast me from afar all the time. Occasionally ive killed 1 or two when they for some reason get stuck infront of me due to other enemy movement. Not allowed to drink potions half of the time either. Half the time i get swarmed by 2 bats from the back and two archers from the front and its over in 20 moves when i start a new game. Broken and useless game. So imbalanced and antifun unfairness.
Oh, the games been updated/fixed since 2016. Now its actually a game instead of grinder! Huge bonus gold on bosses and more gold for killing enemies. The scaling is fixed, no more 30min grind to buy a single upgrade. Now everything is bought as you kill the last boss and the 40k bonus purchases all Launcher weapons you skipped on the way up.
Its as if i cast haste every few min and permanently reduce the available energy. F****** annoying. I have no spells that costs max energy besides haste which i dont use.
Buggy. Permanently losing max fatigue bar as the game goes on. Turned of all passive spells and unequiped everything. Moved between floors and shit. Still only half the bar. Its not fun when stuff like that bugs out the game.
I liked it. Ascension reached and one refreshed knowledge and learned some things while doing it. Good game, bit sad that there is nothing more to do now. Was fun while it lasted.
Make a quick play with a mage, it seems to work fine :/ Was it from broken in an old game or is it also broken in a new game ?
