Nothing new under the sun in regards to game design. Wonky rotation when standing on a slopes though. Took a while to get used to having to be still and touching ground to be allowed to swap. Often found myself rotating the wrong way and having to redo stuff. Easy to forget which way you'll turn or simply miss-clicking and it means death and doing it all over again. Wish there was a power-up or something that could be acquired that allowed you to spin back at once when you see yourself accidentally going the wrong way. Overall a solid game with good music with the option to mute etc if its not to taste. Its closer to a four than a three for me but not by much, so a generous 4 stars.
Main game mechanic issue of the game is that its easier to trade yourself to victory than to to "hack". Whats the point in even doing the hazzle of following the text? Slow and boring to type a bunch of IPs and MACs compared to the [value balance and convert]. 500$ for the hud and convert is all you need.
The most horrible error in game design is the missing amount buying control, 10, 100, 1000, next, max etc. All we have is a horrible 1 or max. This alone makes the game deserve 1 star. Pretty much unplayable.
The only good thing about this idlegame is the minimalistic userface. Got so screwed by the first reset. Didnt know that only one unit was boosted by the reset. Killed any will to play further upon testing. Horribly bottlenecked in food regardless of what i do. So antifun. Cant even get back to one 1/20th of the progress i had. Big room for improvement.
Something is off with the rarity and stats at the end It looks like. I get green items that are equal and stronger than red ones. All dropped in act 3 Deep Bellow. Example: [Green 603armor 65 speed] glove VS [Red 589 armor 65 speed] glove. 2nd example: [Green 2986dmg 12%attack] sword VS [Red 2936 12%attack sword]. Best sword ive found is [green 3200dmg 11%attack] or [3625 with 8 attack speed]. Lots of greens are equal or better than reds. Only exceptions is red rings which are always better than green ones, which aint even close in stats.
Hah! Found my favorite comic as a child in the game! Percevan and Kelvin! Long time since ive seen them mentioned in anything or anywhere! Sir Johan och Pellesomething with the tiny Smurf for sure. Edvard Scissorhands, and Gollum maybe? The redhaired girl and her blue familiar feels really, well, familiar. Fun little things.
Anyways desperately needs a mute button!
Bravo! I was wondering if anyone would find Percevan and Kevin! For the red-haired girl it is in French another comic: Pelisse in the quest of the bird of time. There is a button to cut the sound to the right if you wish.
Did not like this one, compared to the previous ones. Things were obtuse here, did not like that the hints were mandatory on several on them. Specially on the 25th. Still lucked out on it. Fairly quick game though.
This game pivoted midway and became a monster collecting game that serversided. The idlegame (local saves) is broken and not really maintained by the devs. It takes a few weeks to get to end of content in the idlegame.
The automatic movement in air was so noticeable that it threw me off entirely with the first jump, at first and I was more concerned with it than the game itself and playing. As one always does, whenever something is wrong/annoying I figured it out before going forward. Some quick testing showed that the game tries to align you with the square pattern of the gameworld. Now I hate it! Interferes with chaining jumps as the game moves you off-kilter with what you were aiming for, causing a wobble when you try to compensate. Handholding that fails at it is even worse than handholding. What if i want to stand beside a portal on a one square width area?! Removing control from the player is a big fat NO. Player control is the most important part of a platformer. Introducing involuntary air movement mechanics is a shitty thing to do and not explain why. Overall good ideas brought down by partially shit controls.
Editorial suggestion: Ranks; Professional Painter, Art Master etc. Atm they are pointless since there is no context to them. Cut them from the game since they add nothing. Maybe a little too heavy on the rng side at times? But its FUN. Im generally quite against card games that dont care about number of draws and copies of a card. You can draw more copies of a card that you have. The game is unbalanced due to it. Was trivial to beat the game without danger on the second attempt with that knowledge. However it was a FUN play. Im torn on the game. FUN but less good system. FUN have to trump good mechanics. 4 stars.
Balance 38 moves by level 20. Cant bring myself to play more. As Kleko said really same thing over and over again. Agrees with the rest as well, really needs the points as a popup. Music is horrendous, good on you to have a mute button.
Thank you for playing!
