Blue is OP. I was paying one point for four power. Hive Mind x3 and swarm the field with low-cost cards. Throw in some railguns for in case he destroys your Hive Minds or throws out some defenders before you can get them out. The opponent will ALWAYS use his defenders on the railgun if you attack with it first.

Videogamers these days are so god damn babied. It gives me much joy to see a game that actually punishes the player for losing. I mean, what's with these games that give you money or upgrade points or whatever even after getting your ass handed to you? THEY'RE REWARDING YOU FOR LOSING. I don't see the fun in winning after the game has held my hand the entire time. Games like this one force the player to think about the consequences to their actions. We desperately need more like this.

Of course creative platformers can still be made! Imagination is limitless. There will always be something that hasn't been done. On an entirely different note, it's oddly refreshing to see such an old literary joke be the central theme of a game. On the gameplay, overall I don't think it's nearly as inventive as it's being hyped up to be. This concept holds so much potential that you haven't even begun to make use of. I would love to see this idea expanded upon with much more intricate level designs.

The fighting style system is a little counter-intuitive. I mean, why have all these different styles if you can only benefit from one at a time and you can max out your prefered style so early on? I don't think it would be hard to assign the different special moves to different motions, such as having the power attack be a vertical strike rather than horizontal. Also, the game is far too easy. On my first playthrough, I chose "By The Maker!" and never died. This is a problem.

I get no satisfaction from this. Sure, it's alright for a quick break or something, but the extreme ease does not allow me to get any sort of feeling of accomplishment from this game. Furthermore, it follows the trend of "games that reward you for losing". There is no motivation for me to try to better learn the game's mechanics and improve my skills. I simply have to go to the levels with an ass-load of gifts and play them a few times to quickly max out all of my items, if I want to. There isabsolutely nothing to keep the player seriously interested in this game. It's just another forgettable time-waster. Perhaps if you allowed the player to turn off gift-gain on losing a level, or made a gameplay mode in which that feature is disabled, it could be a little better for keeping the attention of a challenge-seeker while not killing the game for anyone looking for just a simple time-waster.

This game lacks what made the second one so wondrous: the upgrade trees. I loved looking forward to seeing what cool and unique tanks I could branch off to. It created a spectacular sense of progression. In this game, with the ability to completely change your tank in every way with just one upgrade, that sense is entirely lost.

Not a bad game, but it simply does not live up to its name. The bosses are laughably easy, requiring little more than keeping them at the end of your range and mashing sword attacks. It lacks the majesty of the first two titles. Swords are extremely overpowered, making combat not a challenge at all. Level designs lack the ingenuity of the original. I would suggest toning down the swords and maybe adding more moves for the martial arts, maybe directional input stuff or another attcack button, just to make combat a little less monotonous.

Having only one attack gets very dull. Variety would be much appreciated, especially if you're going to have a combo counter. High combobs aren't that cool when all you have to do is mash one button. btw, the special move makes me want to play Sonic Blast Man II "ZA FIGHT FOR FREEDOM!!!"

eh not much more than just another Patapon knock-off, which is a surprise for me, coming from you. Plus the game is way too easy, all you have to do is press the attack button and watch, if you've constructed your band of adventurers well. Laughably easy. A joke. But the song at the end was pretty damn cool.
