Decent base, but needs ALOT of work. Balancing issues are abundant, and the game quickly becomes simply a matter of mindlessly clicking the attack button. There is never enough stuff to spend your money on, so you can constantly have everything pretty much fully stocked. The battles are way too repetitive, your options are extremely limited. There is no skill or strategy involved whatsoever...I can hardly call this an RPG.
BUT there is much potential.
The music is generic as all hell. The gameplay is unpolished and clunky. Absolutely NO creativity or innovation. We've all seen this hundreds of times before. There is nothing to set this game apart from the hordes of games just like it.
The game glitches like every 5 seconds. The programming is extremely half-assed and pitiful. Berzerk Studios, you have really let me down.
Alright, you have a solid foundation. Now give me something new and exciting. There are already hunfreds of games just like this one. Show the children the power of creativity!
What?! No metal?! What kind of record store is this?
In all seriousness, it could use a "specialty" mechanic, something that lets you focus on one genre in particular, and maybe you get some kind of bonus for that genre, like the CDs are cheaper for you to buy, or something along those lines.

I'm shocked that people are saying that this is offensive. They obviously don't get the message. It's clearly AGAINST discrimination. It's a sad and disturbing social commentary on racial hatred in society. It's pretty much saying that the straight white man is the only one who wins in this world. It is not saying that this is just, or that this is the way things should be. Just listen to that music. This game is a blunt depiction of the hell on earth that is modern society.
First of all, it's way too easy. The checkpoints are entirely unnecessary. The obstacles are extremely basic and require no skill to overcome. Frankly, the gameplay elements are quite awful. However, I do like how artistic the game is. I had fun trying to figure out just what sort of creature I was climbing on (the last one totally took me by surprise). The plot twist at the end was pedictable, but it's a message that can never be said enough.
Make the gameplay more exciting. Give me some intense moments to struggle through. I need some suspense, and checkpoints subtract from that. They make the player fear death less because they know that they'll just come back right where they were.
Homsetly, this particular project would probably make a better short animation than a game.
