Okay maxed out Laser ship (pick one, I only have model 3 right now), with maxed out laser turrets, with maxed out version of both poison and homing, SO MUCH FUN! It's like I'm raving enemies to death! Tack on maxed out Collectors and the initial bomb mod, and you are a set little RP gatherer! Conversely, to gather RP fast, especially early on (at least up to boss 2), Max out compact bomb mod, two collectors, 4 rocket turrets, acid and spread weapon mods, and be in a rocket turret! Then go fight Aegis! With all the bombs you have with compact you can blast away his bullets, and level him quickly with so many rockets. My best so far is 188K RP without being hit (94K or so pre-x2) Great way to get things maxed early. Hope this helps, folks!
This game is impressively confusing. I see a lot of convoluted upgrading, but no real noticable changes. I'll try this a bit longer, as I only have just started, but so far I dunno how I feel about it. Doesn't feel as rewarding as other MMO games, like Backyard Monsters (which I can't get on due to Oops bug! |:/
Amended! Not only did I beat Settlers but Castle Variant as well! It took me a few good months to beat it, but something must've just clicked! I think Settlers was harder than Castle Variant, tho. Really hard at the start of Settlers. I have yet to get the Hard Badge, despite beating all the maps. But just BEATING that damn map is worth it to me.... sorta (would still like the badge proof).
This simple classic has always been a fun game, unlike many of the complex, convoluted, confusing plot-based games we have today. Sometimes the best things in life, really are the simple things. While your version is great... unfortunately I do have to say that Timesplitters 2 has the best Snake music ever! But don't let that bum you, this is still a great 5/5 tho!
I would definately rate that a hard badge! It felt rewarding earning it after going back through the one-slice levels and constantly shaving and reshaving the blocks to earn the bonus 1 or 2% to get just enough to get that badge! Always a fun little puzzle game, thanks again.
I'm in the third bloody level, and I'm getting my rear handed to me, I have no idea whats going on, the characters don't seem to be responding to my commands, and I think I just heard my character game over as I'm down here typing this.... This looks rather interesting, but I have no clue what I'm doing.
I'm still getting that "oops something broke", ever since my Base=0 was fixed. If it's not one thing.... ^.^' Please get back around to fixing me, KIXEYE!
@gamerscul9870: I refreshed once and got the badge, it did take a bit for it to realize. It did it just after I checked game stats. Try that, if you haven't already. Other than that I dunno! '.^~*
Anyway, the lighting is very dynamic and really gives you a great feel of the game's ambience! The monsters look... well for lack of a better term "blorby" and really stand out as Cthulu based monsters. The End of Days backround and your character's appearance further this apocalyptic feel. All in all, this may not be MY nightmare, but it might just be Japan's.... or dream. Sometimes it's hard to tell with them! haha

I'm stuck in the Leftward hamster room. I take the pipe up, but I don't leave screen. Further, thinking this might be a gag by the game, I click save and exit.... and I can't. |:\
Today's map, I lasted only 14 minutes. There is always such pressure on me in this version, as I only have an hour to beat the map before the game kicks Survival Mode on, and then it's just a wave of death.
I am still in Base=0 hell, but at least there is work being done. While I wait, what do you all think of a camera swivel button? Having only the one angle to work from is annoying, isn't it? Being able to swivel the camera would make the game a million times more enjoyable.
And my joy to being able to play after being stricken with base=0 for months warrants -13? You'd think people would be happy that someone is getting to play this game again. Tough crowd.
