Excellent game bar one fact. Not having a map saw me reach the end with one piece of the golden amulet missing. It also saw me having to go through the walkthrough to try and find the last piece. That is very tedious. Add a map and you will have completed it to perfection.
Very nice, barring a few aesthetic spelling mistakes and language issues ( what the hell..not what a hell etc). The only real gripe is that I wish I could have read the dialogue with the mad scientist in the end instead of having to skip it due to being chewed on while it was going on. You should freeze the action while the talking is going on.
Very good game. The only discernible flaw is that it fails you in the midst of an object flying towards its objective. During one of the sky puzzles I set up a bomb array so that the wood was approaching the flames slowly. The level really should wait for all objects to stop moving before declaring failure.
Objects will not stop moving in Sky (0-g) levels! I think a timeout is required so players get feedback, I have increased their length so hopefully it will be a rare problem.
What is the point of earning all the money to buy weapons that don't actually amount to enough grunt to be able to defeat Atropos without having to learn all his little moves like a little girl at a ballet school. If you want the player to be impressed by all the moves Atropos has then make a cut-scene. It's as if whatever you throw at it is completely pointless and ignored..because it's decided I have to sit through the whole , long winded and boring light show. Power up the weapons and make the Atropos level shorter.
Wonderful evolution of the concept. The freedom to explore and adapt the solution is a welcome development. The art and science of waking up sleepy boxes advances another step ! :)
You should know that the "Super Upgrade" can never be bought! Every time you get enough money to buy it the shop makes it more expensive! Wait..I just gave it away. Umad bro? UMAD? :)
Seen a very similar game on xgen games only with a boss fight against Satan. Still, not too bad and without earthquakes..the other one had annoying earthquakes.
You do realize, my fellow gentle gamers, that this means there might be a sequel to "In The Company of Myself", since the co-protagonist didn't really harm his friend but rather forget her due to his substance abuse. Maybe she can come back to rescue him...hmm?
Very nice sequel. Atmospheric music and setting, very much in accordance with the eldritch spirit of the games. I'm also glad to see the pixel hunting element of the previous installment is missing, replaced by solid puzzles and story. Looking forward to the next one. All those who died of fright were unwitting participators in the process of natural selection. Used to be lions, now it's flash apparitions of ghosts :)
At first I thought that "In the Company of Myself" was the best game on the site. Now it has a serious challenger, cum complimenting element. Again, excellent musical accompaniment to the games' theme and mood. All kinds of awesome. 5/5
I like the dastardly way you designed some of the levels, that in order to get gold on them you need to really think in a non conventional way in them. Of course, I only like it now that I managed to realize what I need to do.
