Part One: What game to mind for me, is when I bought one of those 100 games on one CD things for the first time as a kid... and how quickly I learned quality over quantity. NONE of these games are fun to play more than three times, and the requirement to get a decent stat is insane. What's even worse, one of the prizes for beating the game, is that I get to play them again...? Holy cow. What are the other prizes... I can make my own duck (no thanks after all that). This game has a great idea behind it but I there is little that could be done to make the execution worse. I also had a feeling that the people involved with development didn't play this to it's completion. Also, what's the point in needing 150 of every stat and then not run the automated race at the end? Seems I could have done it at zero?
Pretty fun for solitaire. It would be fun to see albatross and condor for -3 and -4! Feel free to include more like the turkey (three birdies in a row). I enjoyed the level designs minus the last one, which just looked like you ran out ideas instead of something creative like the others. That level just felt dull and broke the smooth level designs and left it feeling inconsistent. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. 4/5
By far the best hidden item game I've played. I was very interested in what happened next, although sometimes too much so to where I was hinting most things. Excellent story, well done visuals and I adored the character. The only thing I found to really to complain about is that in the water level one of the hints for the starkiss was pointing to the left when it was to the right of that location. 5/5 (first hidden item game I've given a 5 to!)
Hi. Hah.. "too much".
Takahmasak. The hints are not rigged. The paralax was just super deceptive.
The Starkiss was way back in the background. The foreground covering the Starkiss is super far from the Starkiss. The further away something is from the camera, the slower it moves. The closer it is, the quicker. If you moved East while having the Hint on, you will see that it points to it. And like I said, if you travel West, notice the Starkiss moves slow while the foreground moves fast. Very deceptive! Be careful!
Thank you for your appreciation!
In terms of "find the differences" games, this is one of the better ones. However, the music is absolutely dreadful. I understand there's a mute button, but I really just want to kill but music instead of sitting in silence. 4/5
Not the greatest pixel game I've played, but playable. The worst thing in my opinion, is the downtime. I get bored sitting there waiting for the next wave of enemies, and going by what you said about the upgrades being intentionally overpowered, feel free to send a ton of stuff at me, Blowing things up is always better than staring at the black background. Set a hotkey for more enemies and let me mash it. You could add SOME difficulty by not letting pixels heal as much, most of the time I could just crash into enemies with practically no penalty. The music is okay, but on an endless loop, gets old. If you make a third, try to have a few tracks to cycle through at least. 3/5
For some reason, I can't get over the humor of the boot & blade attack... Anyhow, nicely done game. The graphics were pleasant to look at, but you should just make bridges instead of mystery mist of mystery to walk on. I also had almost no reason to purchase new items, perhaps it's more of a priority on later difficulties. I had switched to hard once from the standard difficulty and went from destroying to destroyed, the the jump was rather unpleasant instead of challenging. I suppose I could have been unlucky in that one battle. However, you really seem to find an absurd amount of items, and that was more than enough to get through the default settings. I wasn't sure if there was a way to grind, but I'm sure your die-hard fans will want something along those lines. The story line was interesting and made me wonder what was next. I'd definitely play a number 2.
This was fun. Lack of a visual battle is made up for by witty comments that got a couple chuckles. Nothing about the game, aside from that, really stands out though. It's nice to see the zombie's kind of interact with their workplace and with that animation during battles, but once you figure out the formula, which is short and most people will figure it out quickly, it's a bit repetitive. The random events were a nice touch, but after about halfway through my game they just became intrusive instead of helpful or even hurtful. I'm certain I had to go back to Africa ten times to do something that hadn't been a challenge to begin with. It would be nice to be able to create the zombie army quicker. Either allow us to manually insert a number or put and ALL option to click and make the entire army that zombie. There were a nice assortment of upgrades, and interesting money makers too. If this is the first attempt with this game, I'd definitely play a Zombies, inc. 2. 4/5
An okay racing game. I'm not a huge fan of racing games, but I don't rate down because of that fact. The graphics and music are adequate for this game though I'm sure long term exposure would cause some eye strain! Really the main two issues are the length and ease. Like others have said, beat the first few tracks with your starter car then when you can, jump to the final car (even a new player like me can figure it out without reading comments). Maybe a multiple lap mode, or an actual race mode racing against other cars of varying difficulties? Once you get the last car it's fairly simply to finish everything. You could get around the length by making the cars more expensive, but don't just do that or you'd just make the game repetitive. If you do that, you'll also have to add a ton of levels and increase level scenery to compensate. I did find it amusing that the reds and blues made me see purple spots in the chat. XD 3/5
Part two: More than one sword isn't needed especially if it does the same amount of damage as punching something. If you want to add something else, instead of slightly different swords maybe add a hammer, axe... etc. Enemies should also get more difficult as the player progresses, but didn't feel like it did. Likewise, weapons should do slightly more damage as you progress through them. The levels are made more tedious by having to revisit areas, and having no map doesn't help this any. It's easy to forget where things are and NOONE wants to revisit with these level designs. 2/5
Part one: This game is playable up to beating it, but if there were more levels, I'd not be able to continue. The graphics, although consistent, are not fun to adventure through and the background is just as bad as the main platforms. Some games look well done even with low quality type graphics (notebook wars), and this is NOT one of those. The background music is TERRIBLE and repetitive. As for the game play, please add a retry button to the level won screen, though it's not necessary, your players will want to redo levels in order to farm exp. Weapons are nice, but most of the swords look similar and aren't unique aside from the last. The gun was essentially useless, I didn't even want to bother with it seeming how the sword kills everything easily and requires no strategy (bosses are the exception) though I'm assuming it does the same amount of damage as the swords.
Not bad. I completed both the games, and will just leave my overall thoughts on this one. If you make a third, please give the enemies their own bullets. Just a personal annoyance of mine if I can't tell who owns which bullet. My main thought about the games, is that they need more levels. The first game I actually had to upgrade quite a bit in order to beat the last boss but this one felt very uneventful, Feel free to go nuts with final bosses, make it fun, make him fire at me with everything he's got. Not bullet hell, but enough to provide a challenge. The game being short reduces my interest in replaying levels as there is no longer a point to get money. Maybe 20-25 levels would balance this out, and the final levels should provide a sufficient challenge regardless of your upgrades.
Money issues, lack of magnet primarily isn't a HUGE deal, but it is annoying. Nearly every other shooter game I've played has this feature. The whole "WTF BOOM" thing is old, played out and just annoying, it makes me want to turn this game off instead of trying again. Also, if monsters spawn out of a black circle... there is NO reason the game should ever have a black background! EVER! Dying at the end of a level because it's black and I can't see the spawn point is almost as annoying as wtf boom. The background noise is awful too, none would be better than the current. Get rid of that pointless nonsense, and you'd have a decent shooter game with some potential. The controls were smooth, the enemies for the most part interesting. The controls are doable but they are awkward and take some practice. 2/5
Part two: There were a couple typos that I could say if you care about that, I don't hold them negatively toward my rating as this game is A LOT of text and I only could think of three. Only one I can think of off the top of my head is bear saying "I resemble that remark!" resemble should be resent unless it was meant as a joke. Anyway, 5/5. My enjoyment of the game far outweighs my few gripes.
Part one: This is probably one of the better games I've played on Kong and considered it an awesome way to spend a Sunday. One of the few games I actually ignore the skip scene button which most games leave me begging for one or mashing one. There wasn't a single character I didn't like, and the story was kept interesting. The customization of the ship is a huge benefit for games like this as well.
I can't find much to complain about, but it would be nice to have some from of notice when I'm bumping into something with my ship other than my shield simply depleting. Most of the time I'm entirely too focused on the enemies to watch when I'm scraping a wall (especially a black one). I also wasn't sure why enemies can go through walls but I am unable to. Also, with such an interesting dialog, why limit me to two chats when there are three or more people available? Not necessary, I'd gladly click on them just to see what they had to say.
This kept me interested all the way through. It was fun seeing what these "arseholes" had to say for themselves day after day. Also a lot of unanswered questions to keep me interested in a Part. 2. Well done. 2x should really be the default speed, getting that upgrade REALLY made the regular speed feel terrible. Even that gets a bit slow. I'd like a way to get around faster, as it more entryways to other areas. Other than that, I have a hard time finding things to complain about. 4/5
Pretty fun. Hard enough for a challenge but not hard enough to rip one's hair out. I'd like to see more content in the game though. A lot of shooter games have this one level thing, and while the game is good, lack of other things to do may turn people off. However, judging by the first comment you're working on this in two. By the way, thank you for not putting those orange guys in the late levels! 4/5
Pretty fun. Although once you get all the upgrades you can kinda strafe up and down(not specifically aiming, just moving) on the right side shooting left and got the 150k on the first try. If should be made so you can't abuse the timed levels too. Not sure if it works with all of them but the last one I played you could just leave on guy on the screen and not kill him and none would spawn. Overall though, fun game, I played enough to get all the badges without thinking it was boring at all. 4/5
Definitely a well spent few hours. I love retro games, and mixing them together was a fun experience. I have NO complaints other than during the wrestling match Abobo disappeared and I had to start over which was a bit annoying. 4/5
PART TWO Battling the same poorly thought out pumpkin guy and insect guy increases boredom. Speaking of these monsters, some random jerk off the street should not be giving me 10x the money compared to winning a tournament. The difficulty of the random battle requests never seemed to increase, despite my grinding them for cash on occasion. So, in the end I was stuck between one-hit killing the random battles or trying the monster which typically dodges most attacks, which made it annoying, not difficult. Nobody wants to wait for the gauge to charge up to level four and have it miss repeatedly. Those are just my main gripes, most of the other things are covered in other comments such as grammar, spelling. This means A: You aren't good at English, which is acceptable, but you should get help with it if you're going to design English games. OR B: You don't care enough to fix it, which makes me less than interested in going to your actual website.
