There's a hint of atmosphere that's promising, but there's not much to the game. And there seems to be health/lives but you have to restart when you get hit once which is just frustrating. If it were broken up into stages/checkpoints and there was a decent upgrade system this might be a really good game.
The controls are a bit unresponsive. And how come my arrows bounce off of an armored NPC, but an armored NPC's arrow can one-shot my armored character?
Well, they actually do help in the final battle, however it is very minimal. In the next update I will have them always help a little; and I will play with making them more powerful during the final battle. Thank you for the feed back, please rate.
Without being able to go in reverse it's too easy to get stuck on a barrel. Further, if you're pressing the right key to accelerate transitioning to a jump is awkward as you immediately start tilting - making up accelerate instead of right would be better in my opinion.
Dragging objects to use them is more annoying than the standard room escape method of selecting the object and then clicking on the object you want to use it on. And the text descriptions are all messed up.
Can't do enough damage. Which means I can't kill enough zombies to upgrade the troops to do more damage. Which means I can't beat stages to get rubies for basic upgrades that might help with the previous two issues.
The bouncing bullets aren't very useful. In fact, since they can apparently bounce off of your own rebounding bullets they can actually interfere with your ability to shoot stuff.
The game would be more than grindy enough without nerfing the money accumulation on replays. Even if didn't take 3 blue blops to equal 1 red the income is low compared to the upgrade prices and the number of things that need to be upgraded.
