Income is too slow or starting ships are too expensive if we've got to keep replenishing the blasted things, which seems inevitable given the limited information available for both the ships and the makeup of the enemy fleets not to mention the terrible battle control.
And while the newspaper ads are interesting, at best they might justify the counter-intuitive costs from Newspaper to Donut Shop (though not really - while it might justify the newspaper having a higher cost than some tiers above it, it still doesn't make sense of the Car Wash being more expensive than the Pizza Delivery which is more expensive than the Donut Shop, etc.). Since they don't modify the Shrimp Boat and higher, the counter-intuitive pricing there still makes absolutely no sense.
The AI Upgrades should really transcend game resets... I swear, the more this game gets upgraded the more I feel like I'm spinning my wheels and getting nowhere.
I click play and it brings up what I'm assuming is the game for a split second and then pops back to the opening screen. So... I can click Play a lot and that's about it.
it's because I made a event that saves the game every 60 seconds, even it's out of layout game, I had notice of this bug, and i had exported another file but still doesn't have updated, try clean up your cache to reset the saved file
I like the concept. The click mechanic is annoying. This is one of those games that makes me wish there was a half star so I could rate it right at the middle 2.5
Atmosphere? Bacteria? Organisms? Who needs 'em. Just make some land and throw your plants, animals, and humans on it and they'll learn to survive without breathing if it kills them.
Also, a typo: "In some forests, you can't cedar woods for the trees." should read "In some forests, you can't cedar woods fir the trees." ;)
So the pricing going bassackwards at about 300+ items is intentional? That defies convention and sense. Perhaps a good reason for this will become apparent in time, but in the meantime the rating is getting nudged down a star.
We understand. The reason we balanced the game this way, at least in a ludonarrative sense, was that the demand for Newspapers was going to plummet, and Oil Rigs would remain steady. However, we'll be implementing a system where your newspapers actually increase the effectiveness of other businesses as you advertise with them. But talk is cheap! We'll get these systems in, and perhaps that star will nudge back up.
Alas, still get an "unable to access the network" error. It looks like it's trying to load from offsite (ciaccodavide.altervista.org), and the site it's trying to load from is being blocked by McAfee for whatever reason. Nothing I can do about that. :(
yeah, ciaccodavide.altervista.org is my website where i'm hosting the game files!
To save it has to store data in the browser cache, maybe try adding an exception to your antivirus...
The only data that this game try to upload are the kongregate stats when you manually save, should work also offline...let me know if you can get it working (maybe try also an other browser!)
I need to go into these locked rooms and find some happy memories... There! Look there! A rolled up tube of toothpaste... *sniff* Oh, how fondly I recall brushing my teeth those many years ago...
I feel like the reward for the various vehicles should increase more as you go up in levels. Or else the bonus multiplier needs to go up more per increase. The income grinds to a relative crawl with the reward getting to around $120 and the costs for things being like $25K-70K.
::loads up badge of the day game:: Hrm, why did I give this 1 star again? ::plays on casual and dies before getting past the starting level, and is greeted with a Game Over:: Ah, yes, I remember now.
