Which might not be a problem if the "initial money" skill was actually useful - right now it is a waste of skill points since even when it is topped out you don't even get an extra 100 bucks.
For that many skill points it should give 1000 bucks - at least, and probably more like 2000.
The 2nd boss, the guy in the last level, may be a bit too tough. I might grind for some more skill points, but he has an awful lot of hp and attacks right away.
I haven't found the difficulty to be that bad. I've been playing on normal and am about to start level 13. I think the people on the earlier levels need to use their snipers (and upgrade them) more effectively.
For those having trouble will level 5, you can go back and redo some of the earlier levels and get more skill points. I'd recommend improving all the soldier types you can use too.
Needs arrow keys as an alternative control scheme and a half-second delay or slower serve - half the time when I score the counter serve scores on me.
Ideally you should show the ball stationary for a sec before it comes at you.
Reminds me a bit of the Lost Vikings.
If you make a sequel then give the sheep their own special abilities (mass/speed/size) isn't really distinctive enough.
I'd recommend you give one of them the ability to charge to break certain obstacles and maybe hurt some enemies (the fast one), make one invicible to enemy attack (the big one), and give the little one the ability to charm/sing to draw creatures towards it.
Fun game, I didn't really like level 14 since I seemed to have trouble dragging the box when it was already moving. I'm thinking this may have been a hit detection problem.
I take it back, I played through again and was able to use the yellow hat more than the blue. In fact, I think it might've been a bit faster and more useful.
Cool game, I felt the rabbit and "siren" hats were rather underutilized though (esp. the siren hat).
I think you need to highlight the "alternative" control scheme more - I used the arrows for jumping and hat power, which frees up your left hand to switch hats quickly.
The 8th level should be the last level - it is way too hard and based too much on luck.
Also, the basic torch that you use should either extend all the way out or it should show you a little bit of the area directly around you - it is too easy to hit sides without seeing them and to come across an incline you can't pass without enough warning.
Good game, I beat it on regular and will try tricky later. I think the shields should cover much more area with the upgrades and I'd also recommend a repair drone unit for free repairs.
Also, didn't happen to me, but I don't think the turrent slots should be permanently disabled upon destruction.
Oh, and the crew allocation is relatively pointless - there is no great advantage to upping life support/cloning just so you can get a couple hundred more people. By the time it takes to get more people you can easily have everything researched.
Perhaps you should slow down the research rate and make some upgrades more useful and/or more cheap. I never got around to upgrading some cool looking things due to lack of money and upgrading more important stuff.
