I got the the "wizard" level, and at the ned when you have to input a bunch of characters, I accidentally screwed up at the end which made me restart, which mean I lost, which mean they kicked me, which meant I DIED IN ONE HIT FROM FULL HEALTH. NOT FUN. 2/5
Very nice, but some flaws IMO: (1) The Line should stay where it's at when your ball dies (2) you should have some sort of level select or at -least- a world select. I'm not about to go through a bunch of worlds all over again just to get back to that one level that cost me all five lives, largely because of point 1. (3) Don't have the paddle slow to a stop. It makes it feel slippy-slidey which is hard to control. All in all though, damn nice take on breakout. 4/5, would be 5/5 if the flaws were addressed.
Well that was fun. It didn't really need the "shapes appear along with music part," not saying that I didn't like that. It just wasn't much of a music game, more like a game to the beat music, you see? 4/5 since it's a pretty short, shallow game, but it looks quite nice and is very entertaining.
Mission seven is waaaay too vague. I thought I had to protect earth until time ran out. I had like eight fully upgraded silos on earth and waited until time ran out and it shat on me with a big old "MISSION FAILED." I'm not doing that all over again, screw this week's card.
Medium badge is easy if you know what to do. Go on the pentagram stage, set up a "nuke" combo in the middle, put a taser at the top middle, and surround it with 4 rate Ups. Tada, they're stuck at the entrance getting nuked. :P
Not hard. Just requires patience. Hint on bonus levels: If you time it juuuust right you can make your first line take out half the level, through the center. Then it's easy pickings.
Absolutely top notch. Though there is a common bug where the rollover text won't display, only the boxes for the text (though it's easily rectified by trying again). 5/5aved
Nice gameplay, but too repetitive. Story's not bad either. Though, the sniper rifle should have pinpoint accuracy, and it doesn't at all. I got bored fast. 4/5
Pros: Impressive visuals, responsive controls, good gameplay.
Cons: Been there done that, one hit point wonder, way too much screen shaking, bouncy boundaries, too hard to combat momentum, and only a little of the playfield is visible at once.
All in all a solid 4/5
